How does it feel to be together for 50 years both at home and on the stage of the theater, in front of an applauding audience? Svetlana Nemolyaeva and Alexander Lazarev proved that nothing is impossible for loving hearts. Their meeting was accidental, but there is no doubt that fate was a foregone conclusion that their feelings would be mutual for life.
Theatrical couple
The place of their meeting was the Mayakovsky Theater, to which they came almost simultaneously after receiving their diplomas. Moreover, both she and she simply accompanied friends who wanted to get a job at the famous Mayakovka. Nemolyaeva went to this theater for a long time, and Lazarev got there quite by accident, and his plans did not previously include working under the leadership of the innovative director Ivan Okhlopkov. But Providence had its own oversights.
It was summer 1959. Nemolyaeva and Lazarev met almost every day at the theater, greeted and dispersed each on their own business. After some time, the actor Anatoly Romashin decided to hit on the pretty young actress. And then Alexander Lazarev was replaced, suddenly he decided to also fight for the heart of Svetlana Nemolyaeva and gave a decisive rebuff to the potential boyfriend, puzzled by this turn of events.
Romashin preferred to surrender without a fight and lost to Svetlana the persistent Lazarev. But although the young actor was a tall and stately handsome man, a favorite of girls, Nemolyaeva did not pay much attention to him. And here Alexander Lazarev was helped by his perseverance - after several months of active courtship, he made a marriage proposal to Svetlana. And Nemolyaeva immediately agreed! But the young actors agreed to keep their relationship secret from colleagues and acquaintances.
But it's hard to hide something in the theater. Colleagues quickly found out about the couple in love and wondered when the theatrical wedding would be. The trip to the registry office took place on the morning of March 1960, and in the evening another performance was played. There was no money for a wedding with guests and a feast. As well as own housing. The young acting family had to live with their parents.
Together forever
Family life began. Young spouses were almost always together - both at home and at work. Handsome Lazarev attracted young girls, and Nemolyaeva was jealous of her husband for fans. Sometimes the young spouses quarreled with the Italian temperament, but they made up very quickly, often the loving husband was the first to yield. And Alexander reasoned like this: because of some nonsense, a desire to insist on his own - to lose a loved one? No, it's better to ask for forgiveness. Colleagues were a little jealous and jokingly called Alexander "Lazarev under the thumb." Svetlana, in turn, protected her husband from everyday difficulties. He didn’t even know where the linen, socks, plates were kept in the house. Svetlana paid special attention to the appearance and image of her husband, considering, in particular, that it is unacceptable for him to go to the store with a bag.
A family nest for a family of actors appeared three years later. It was a small room in a communal apartment, the modestness of meters did not bother the spouses, they gladly organized gatherings for friends and colleagues. A little later, Lazarev and Nemolyaeva acquired cooperative housing, but it was in a remote area, it was inconvenient to get to the theater. And Svetlana always dreamed of the opportunity to walk to her favorite job.
Fate sent them a good apartment in the center of Moscow. In 1972, the Mayakovsky Theater celebrated its anniversary, on this occasion the team was allocated several apartments, and by this time the housing of Maxim Strauch was vacated. The management of the theater decided to transfer the apartment on Tverskaya to Lazarev. So Nemolyaeva's dream to live closer to the theater came true.
The union of Lazarev and Nemolyaeva was, perhaps, atypical for the theater - neither betrayals, nor bright scandals, nor divorces. They simply loved each other and did not let casual acquaintances and annoying admirers into their environment. Seven years after the wedding, a son was born. Lazarev was glad to hear about his wife's pregnancy, at first he was waiting for his son Petya. But after the birth of the boy, his mother saw that the son was a copy of his father, and he was named Alexander.
The years passed. The family grew, Svetlana and Alexander had grandchildren, Polina and Sergei. Near the dacha, in the village of Abramtsevo, there was an old church built according to Vasnetsov's sketch. This place meant a lot to Svetlana Vladimirovna, her parents met here, and here her grandmother, secretly from Svetlana's parents, baptized her. In this church in the summer of 2009, the couple got married, quietly, without journalists and prying eyes.
They were meted out 50 years of happiness. In May 2011, Alexander Lazarev died. Today, Svetlana Nemolyaeva still keeps the memory of her beloved husband, does not take off her wedding ring and goes to the theater, where they worked together for so many years.
