Video: Van Gogh. Saint or madman

I'll make a reservation right away. For me, Van Gogh is a saint. Holiness in the Bible is not synonymous with moral perfection. The Hebrew word Kadosh, holy, primarily means something mysterious, alien to the world, requiring a reverent distance. Everything that is dedicated to God (people, objects) is called "holy".
The world of Van Gogh tells us that rather not he, but we are insane in our desire to subordinate everything to our truth.
The easiest way is to declare that which is beyond our reach as insanity. After all, lowering the other is always easier than lifting yourself. It annoys me when someone tries to denigrate a genius, be it Van Gogh, Pushkin, Mozart. Anyone who says that Van Gogh is crazy, or does not understand the essence of his work, or is purposefully trying to distort the truth.
The essence of Van Gogh's work is love.
It is not for nothing that Van Gogh's paintings are among the most expensive in the world. And this is not just a business. The positive energy that comes from these canvases is a guarantee of constant interest in the artist's work, both in the present and in the future.
The work of an artist cannot be viewed in isolation from himself. This is his flesh and blood. "By their fruits, you will know them." Van Gogh's work is the most "normal" in the art world. So Van Gogh himself is the most normal of us.
In my opinion, Van Gogh's "madness" is a reaction to the evil of our world, in a mad dance of death, destroying everything in its path.
