And shortly before giving birth, the couple moved from Kensington Palace to live separately at Frogmore Cottage.

All this time, Megan refused to wear clothes for pregnant women, as such outfits seemed to the girl tasteless. Instead, the Duchess wore expensive, loose-fitting dresses from elite labels such as Dior and Givenchy. Megan even began to be accused of squandering - someone calculated that her outfits cost the treasury, and therefore taxpayers, 380 thousand pounds (approximately 31, 5 million rubles), while Kate Middleton's spending during pregnancy was seven times smaller.

It should be said separately that the attention of the press has recently been focused not so much on the upcoming birth of Meghan Markle, as on various rumors about relationships in the royal family … This attention, of course, fueled interest in the birth of a baby, but it was still frankly annoying. Now that the baby is finally born, perhaps the rumors will finally subside. The couple has not yet chosen a name for their first child, so news of this should be expected in the near future. Traditionally, the name is announced two days after its birth. In the UK, they even make bets now, and according to the bookmakers, the names of Arthur, Albert and Alexander are in the lead.
