It would seem that Evgeny's path was predetermined from birth - his father, Vaclav Dvorzhetsky, was a famous actor, his mother was a director and teacher, his older brother Vladislav followed in his father's footsteps and also became an actor. However, Eugene in his youth did not demonstrate artistic abilities, so even his father doubted that the youngest son would also become an actor. Later, Eugene said: "". The first attempt at admission was unsuccessful - Dvorzhetsky failed the exam in Russian, and the second time he was nevertheless admitted to the Shchukin school.

Back in his student years, Eugene made his film debut - at the age of 20 he played a cameo role in the film Twenty-Six Days in the Life of Dostoevsky. After that, there were the main roles in the films "Tender Age", "Dance Floor" and "The Dissident", but real popularity came to him in the late 1980s, when Dvorzhetsky played two roles at once in "Prisoner of Chateau d'If" - young Edmond Dantes and Albert, the son of Mercedes and Fernand (the director wanted the audience to think throughout the film that Albert could be the son of Dantes, not Fernand). In the 1990s. Dvorzhetsky continued to act, but mostly he got episodic roles. His most notable works of this period were screen adaptations of Dumas' novels "Queen Margot" and "The Countess de Monsoreau".

To many acquaintances, Evgeny Dvorzhetsky seemed to be a real darling of fate: he was successful and in demand in the profession and happy in family life. While still a student, he met actress Nina Gorelik, who soon became his wife. Perhaps her acting destiny could have been more successful, but the actress did not regret anything: "". In 1990, the couple had a daughter, Anna, and in 1999, a son, Misha. And six months after the birth of his son, the irreparable happened …

The Dvorzhetsky family seemed to be pursued by an evil fate - Eugene passed away, like his older brother, at the age of 39, under similar circumstances. In the 1970s. Vladislav Dvorzhetsky was one of the most sought-after actors, known for the films "Running", "Sannikov's Land", "Captain Nemo". He did not spare himself and starred a lot, which affected his health: in 1977, the actor suffered a heart attack twice within a month. In the spring of the following year, he went on tour, although doctors recommended that he take a break from work. During the night move, Vladislav got into a car accident, and although he was not seriously injured in the accident, the stress was so strong that 2 days later the actor died from another heart attack. His brother at that time was 18 years old, his career was just beginning - he was just about to enter the Shchukin school.

After that, they hurried home. Evgeny was driving. He did not notice the “Give way” sign, and at the intersection his car collided with a truck.
