Perhaps everyone at least once in his life dreamed of finding a treasure and instantly getting rich. There are people in Russia who not only cherish this dream, but also hunt for treasures. Recently, information appeared on the Internet that treasure hunters from St. Petersburg found billion Soviet rubles in an abandoned missile silo, but none of the lucky ones really got rich.
A group of enthusiasts exploring abandoned sites began searching in May for money rumored to be buried in a missile silo in the Vladimir region. Local residents did not answer dryly, warned against searching, stressing that the mine has a high level of radiation, since it was built for a ballistic missile.
Going to the mine, the researchers took measurements of the radiation background, but all indicators were normal, the Geiger counter did not record the danger. Then the prospecting work began, it was possible to find the banknotes quickly, it really seemed that the Soviet government had specially buried a billion rubles in the mine.
Treasure hunters found banknotes of all denominations that were printed between 1961 and 1991. Now this money is of no value, since it has long been withdrawn from circulation. The money was hidden in 1991, at that time its value was about $ 33.3 million, but now it would be about $ 18 million.
A group of researchers posted a video of their discovery on the YouTube channel. After that, many media outlets interviewed Sergei Volkov and Anton Aleeksev, members of the expedition. Channel One journalists even conducted their own investigation and said that presumably there are at least three more mines in the region where Soviet banknotes are buried.
Researcher Olga Bogdanova said that the find caused her ambiguous feelings: this money could meet the needs of many people, because at that time even a salary of 100 rubles was considered very good earnings. However, this billion printed banknotes never served the Russians.
It is interesting that many banknotes are tied in bundles, and some bundles are completely sealed. This can only indicate that, most likely, the money got into the swamp directly from the bank. The amount that was buried in the missile silo could easily have bought at least 22 apartments in Moscow!
A billion Soviet rubles is one of the largest, but by no means the only monetary find. So, in 2013 in California, a couple was walking a dog and found in the backyard of their home 1,427 rare coins that were in circulation from 1847 to 1894. Numismatists have estimated the collection at $ 11 million. Some of the coins were sold on Amazon, and some were donated to charity.

If you look at the history of his family, then everything that happens is more like revenge … to his father. Bloody revenge for bloody atrocity

She did not promote the Germans, did not ruin Russia, did not leave the course of Peter: what is Anna Ioannovna accused of in vain?
Anna Ioannovna, niece of Peter the Great, went down in history with a terrible image. For what they just did not reproach the second ruling queen of Russia: for tyranny and ignorance, craving for luxury, indifference to state affairs and for the fact that the dominance of the Germans was in power. Anna Ioannovna had a lot of bad character, but the myth about her as an unsuccessful ruler who gave Russia to be torn apart by foreigners is very far from the real historical picture
