As much as one would like autumn, winter is taking over the reins of government more and more, depriving trees of their beautiful yellow-orange suits, and forcing people to wrap themselves deeper in scarves and coat collars. And we got used to it for a long time. Everyone except the Vietnamese artist Vu con dien: its seasons are similar to each other, and only the color combinations selected by the author for a particular picture suggest whether it is winter, spring or summer. And the trees are invariably fluffy, like dandelions or balloons in the hands of a child. Vu Cong Dien graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Hanoi only in 2005, and has been working on the professional "stage" for only a few years, but his paintings are invariably successful. Perhaps because of the use of color in unusual combinations, or for a new, fresh approach to painting landscapes, or maybe for the wonderful fluffy crowns of strange, as if fabulous, trees.
Surprisingly, Vu Cong Dien's work cannot be called rich in colors and shades. The innovation of his paintings is that he prefers to use mono and two-color schemes for his landscapes. And to be able to depict summer, spring or autumn with two colors and their shades, conveying the mood of peace and tranquility, is already an art.
It is known that the paintings of the young author are popular at exhibitions far beyond the borders of Vietnam. In particular, in Singapore, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Finland, Belgium and Hanoi, where they are in both private collections and renowned galleries.
