Either because of a great love of money, or in the name of art, French artist Philippe Petremant made funny collages from the currencies of different countries. He combined portraits of statesmen depicted on banknotes so that one, composite portrait of a non-existent character was obtained. One big and strange money head in an art project The Magnificent Seven … The French artist is far from the first to use the collection of foreign banknotes in this way. But his attempt to build something original out of them deserves attention, since the portraits turned out to be funny and colorful, and besides, some historical figures can be recognized even in such an unsightly form.
For lovers of riddles and puzzles, this art project can become an exciting game called "know the country by banknote". Everyone else will just get pleasure and a dose of good mood from contemplating funny faces made of multi-colored bills. "Currency sketches" - this is how you can jokingly call the "fruits" of the art project The Magnificent Seven.
You can see the entire collection of original portraits of the author on his website.
