H. P. Baxter said that the flight went well and that all members of the team are in a mood for a good performance. At the airport, the musicians were greeted not only by the organizers of the festival, but also by numerous fans of the famous Scooter group. The musicians had to get to the Crimea with a transfer, which was carried out in the Russian capital.
Rebecca Harms, MEP who represents the Soyuz-90 / Greens political party, believes that the musicians acted irresponsibly by accepting an invitation to come to Crimea to participate in a significant musical event. According to her, with the performance of a German musical group, the authorities of the Russian Federation want to cover up actions that violate the rights of residents of the Crimean peninsula.
At the same time, Yevgeniy Yenin, Deputy Ukrainian Prosecutor General, noted that to visit Crimea, it is imperative to obtain permission from the Ukrainian side, and without such permission, entry to the peninsula is considered illegal border crossing. That is, the musical group Scooter in this case faces a prison term.
The musicians did not pay attention to such threats, in their interview they said that they have many fans on the Crimean peninsula, whom they plan to please with their performance on the stage of the ZBFest festival.
In addition to the world famous German musical group Scooter, Dima Bilan, the SerGa group, Leningrad and others will perform at the festival dedicated to the International Champagne Day. This festival is held in Crimea for the second time. According to preliminary estimates of the organizers, it will be visited by about 40 thousand people. The event will take place in just two days - August 4 and 5.
