The widow of the famous actor Nikolai Karachentsev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Lyudmila Porgina, told reporters that she began to receive threats because of the criticism expressed against Mark Varshaver, who is currently the artistic director of Lenkom.
Porgina accused Varshaver of destroying the theater and believes that Lenkom needs a talented young leader. In turn, Varshaver said that Porgina gets roles through pull, and works in the theater only thanks to the memory of her famous husband.
In an interview with reporters, Lyudmila Porgina called Varshaver "an octopus that captured the Lenkom with all its paws." She said that the artistic director promised to destroy her and not pay her salary. When the actress wrote an article in which she talked about the affairs in the theater, she warned her colleagues: if I suddenly get hit by a car, you should know who it is.
On the side of Porgina and Alexander Zakharov. She believes that Karachentsev's widow is right and expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the new artistic director introduced 2 compositions for each performance. It should be noted that when “Lenkom” was directed by her father Mark Zakharov, the actress had no understudies.
Recall that this is not the first public initiative of Lyudmila Porgina. In April, she demanded a pension of 100,000 rubles for all Russians. Then the actress said that Russia has absolutely all the resources for people to live well and to travel around the world like foreigners. Then the actress admitted that she herself constantly rides a taxi and listens to complaints from drivers that they do not have enough money to live on.
Lenkom fans will have a bright premiere in the coming days - a new version of Ostrovsky's "Profitable Place". The play is staged by Dmitry Astrakhan, and it will become his first work in Lenkom. Set designer Anastasia Glebova, costume designer Anastasia Obraztsova, choreographer Sergei Gritsai and composer Sergei Dolgushin also took part in the creation of the production.
