On September 7, the opening of a retrospective exhibition took place, the exhibits of which are works of high jewelery art created by the masters of Bvlgari, a famous Italian house. This event is held at the Moscow Kremlin Museums, and you can visit it until January 13 of the next 2019.

The exhibits were divided into two exhibition halls of the Assumption Belfry and the Patriarchal Palace. In total, the exhibition features more than five hundred pieces of jewelry from private collections and the heritage of the Bvlgari jewelry house.

Jean-Christophen Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, spoke to reporters. In his interview, he said that the Kremlin Museums are among the most prestigious museums around the world. And it is a great honor for the Bvlgari jewelry house to present the works of jewelry of its masters in these museums, because few brands have been awarded such an honor.

The names of many women that the whole world knows about are associated with the jewelry of the Bvlgari house: Audrey Hepburn, Monica Vitti. Elizabeth Taylor, Ingrid Bergman and many others. The museum researchers noted that each of the jewelry presented at the exhibition in the Kremlin Museums expresses the unique character and charismatic image of famous personalities.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see silver jewelry made by Sotirio Bulgari, the founder of the family jewelry business back in the 1870s-1890s. They are made in the best neo-Greek traditions. Particularly noteworthy are the jewelry made in the period 1950-1960. The jewelery of the 1970s-1990s, which amaze with their extraordinaryness, will be of interest to the guests of the exhibition.

In the mid-1940s, Bvlgari developed a bracelet watch called Serpenti. When developing them, a special technology was used. The peculiarity of the watch is that it is connected to a bracelet in the form of a hollow tube, which should wrap around the wrist. To decorate them, the craftsmen used polished and matte gold, stones, enamel, which made it possible to create accessories that were significantly different from each other in their appearance.

A website was created especially for the exhibition, where everyone can admire photographs of jewelry, get acquainted with announcements of lectures, special children's programs and other planned events.
