During the Tavrida 5.0 forum, which is dedicated to young figures of culture and art, representatives of news publications managed to talk with Irina Mastusova. She holds the position of director of the Animated Film Association and said that in the domestic animation industry, animated series that have a small budget and are developed specifically for the Internet are gaining more and more success.
The fashion for creating a series that will be shown on the Internet appeared for the reason that it is extremely difficult to shoot expensive animation, it takes a lot of time. Now on the Internet you can see a huge number of animated series, in the creation of which, preference was given to simplified animation. The cost of such cartoons is several times cheaper. Animated films for the Internet today are developing at a rapid pace, and they capture not only the domestic market, but also the international one. Mastusova herself calls this tendency beautiful, since it opens up wide opportunities for creativity.
Boris Mashkovtsev, director of the Soyuzmultfilm television studio, drew attention to the fact that these cartoons with simple animation that do not require large amounts of money to create, gather a large audience. The studio "Soyuzmultfilm" itself is not engaged in the production of pure Internet content, but at the same time it is already cooperating with some Internet platforms. They decided to pay attention to this for the reason that in the CIS, about half of the children's content falls on the Internet, since it is now free and generally available.
The director of the Soyuzmultfilm TV studio drew attention to the fact that it is very beneficial for content producers to be present both on television and on the Internet. In this case, the products will not compete with each other, but will add up and significantly increase the result. This is convenient for the reason that television shows can impose viewing of an animated film, which users can easily find and watch on the Internet.
The forum with the name "Tavrida 5.0" has been held for the 5th time. Its implementation is divided into three stages, which take place in the Sudak area. The second stage started on June 20 and will last until August 10. All residents of the Crimean peninsula and its guests are invited to the first festival of creative communities called "Tavrida - ART", which starts on August 20 and will last until August 26.
