Louise photographed some buildings in order to preserve all the features of objects not only in her own, but also in digital memory. And he finds some models in magazines, booklets and books. Having studied the prototype in detail, the artist gets down to work, and does not stop until the miniature house, bridge or castle is an exact copy of the original.
To achieve maximum similarity, Louise Bristow not only copied the shape and colors of window frames, doors and roller shutters, but also applied on the facades of her miniatures the same letters and graffiti that adorned the original, real buildings. And sometimes, in the process of working on a particular sculpture, I visited the prototype to see if it had changed outwardly during this time. Some miniatures are invented by the artist herself and are used as props for her paintings and photographs.
