My father works as an engraver, so the craving for drawing passed to me, consider it, by inheritance. I have loved to draw for as long as I can remember. Naturally, my parents could not help but notice this hobby of mine and decided to send me to the Tula Children's Art School. V. D. Polenov. Here the first setbacks awaited me: on the entrance exam I lacked 2 points to pass. But I couldn't just give up and decided to take this exam next year. - And what do you think? - I passed!
If the earth is flatOf course, it was necessary to draw all sorts of still lifes, like jugs, vases and apples, because it gave at least some education in this area, but I was always bored, and I tried to create something of my own. Therefore, I tried to pay more attention to the composition, and I did not stake on the best possible performance, but on a more original idea. I draw far from perfect, but I didn't really strive for this. What I had already learned was enough for me, and I tried (and still try) to develop my imagination as much as possible. As I always like to say: "The main thing is what's going on in your head, and your hands are just a way to put it on paper." Fortunately, my teacher, Irina Grigorievna, did not limit me in this. This is how my first, more or less worthy works "If the Earth is flat" and "Why are children so afraid of dentists" appeared.
By the last year of study, all graduates had to submit their thesis, consisting of at least 4 works. Of course, there was no limit to my desire, so to speak, “to leave with brilliance”. This is how my small series of works (exactly 4, because it was tense with time) appeared, which I called “The Big World - I’m Small”.
Now school is over, but the love of drawing has become even stronger. I was still trying to come up with something original and unusual, until I saw a documentary by the famous artist and art terrorist Banksy "Exit through the souvenir shop". After this movie, I got the idea that you shouldn't limit yourself to a sheet of paper. Since then I have been doing various experiments with space.
I post my work for everyone to see under a nickname consisting of the first three letters of my name - ARS, which is quite consonant with the word Art (art). In the future, I dream of getting recognition for my work, well, if no one has seen it, then there is no one to receive recognition from …:)
