All over the world, including Denmark, on the streets of cities, parks, as well as in forest zones, one can find huge sculptures made of wood, as if descended from the pages of books. All these unusual creations were created by a talented artist (Thomas Dambo), who in a couple of years has made more than twenty-five of these giants, which now not only decorate city squares, but also delight passers-by, and with them tourists willingly posing against the background of trolls, animals and funny people.

Even as a child, Thomas had a special love for creativity. In his youth, playing with the boys, he managed to build impressive tree houses, and, later receiving a special education in college, he became an excellent carpenter, but this was not enough. After graduating from the school of design, Thomas created, which in the blink of an eye spread around the world. Currently, he collects the original characters, using the remains of plywood, planks, logs and even wood chips to create them. Making an impressive frame, the artist carefully selects small details to reproduce the outer shell, using a solid amount of lumber, resulting in such charming works that delight the eye.
