Designer Emily Seilhamer is a real sweet tooth and can easily prove it by showing the dresswhich she made from 10 thousand candy wrappers … It took her 4 years to collect the required number of colored wrappers. The result is amazing - it is impossible to look away from the bright outfit!
If you don't know what Emily's dress is made of, it's almost impossible to guess. The process of work was very tedious: first, the girl sorted all the wrappers by color, then she ironed each wrapper and folded, making 6 folds, connected the resulting "links" into chains.
Emily collected candy wrappers from only one brand of candy - Starburst. The girl said that these sweets have a symbolic meaning for her: She met her future husband when he treated her to these candies. When Emily decided to make such a dress, he helped her in every possible way - he collected wrappers from the candies that he ate. Together, they collected the right amount of candy wrappers, and Emily finished work on the dress ahead of their wedding. The "candy" outfit became a symbol of their love and affection for each other.
