He was a talented actor and deep analytic person. Many considered Oleg Borisov to be a rather difficult person with a difficult character. Only Alla Latynskaya knew him completely different: wise, caring, patient. They lived together for 40 years, went through fame and betrayal, for 16 years they stood shoulder to shoulder with the actor's serious illness.
The girl from the photo
Oleg Borisov, after graduating from the Moscow Art Theater School, was assigned to the Lesya Ukrainka Kiev Theater of Russian Drama. In Maria Storozheva's dressing room, Oleg saw a photograph of a girl in a big beret on her head. She smiled so attractively that Oleg Borisov immediately decided to get to know her. Maria was in no hurry to agree, motivating her refusal by the fact that Oleg had no chance.
Alla Latynskaya (and it was she who was in the photo) just entered the faculty of journalism at the university. The father of "Beretik", as the actor, the former director of the theater, called her, will demand that his daughter receive a red diploma. But when Alla appeared in the theater, Maria the Watchman nevertheless decided to give the actor a chance and introduced him to her friend.
For three years Oleg Borisov courted Alla. I was never intrusive, I just met a girl from the university, accompanied her home. And at some point it became necessary.
First difficulties, first joys
When it became clear that everything was serious between them, Alla decided to introduce Oleg to his parents. The acquaintance turned out to be exciting for everyone. Alla's mother, seeing the thin young man, immediately began to feed him. Dad, who worked in the theater for many years, knew that the life of his daughter with her husband-actor would not be easy. But Oleg Borisov seemed to them a reliable person. The whole family went to Moscow to meet Oleg's mother.
True, the future mother-in-law was not too happy about the prospect of becoming related with one of the influential persons in the theatrical environment of Kiev. She considered Alla a bride not from their circle. Oleg, after returning to Kiev, suddenly disappeared for several days. He went to his mother himself, hoping to convince her of the correctness of his choice. This sudden absence was the reason for the only serious disagreement between the future spouses.
But the goal was achieved, and the mother-in-law even sewed a wedding dress for her daughter-in-law with her own hand. The wedding, which took place on February 3, 1954, was modest but fun.
Family life was surprisingly easy. Oleg played in the theater, successfully acted in films, Alla worked on television. Two years later, the Borisovs had a son, Yuri.
Betrayal
In 1961, the film "Chasing Two Hares" was released, where Oleg Borisov played the role of Svirid Petrovich Golokhvostoy. After the premiere, the actor was sent to Poland as part of the delegation. The theater management would not let him go, but the Ministry of Culture assured him that everything would be all right. But immediately after Borisov's departure, the management of the theater gathered the entire troupe and by a general meeting they fired him from the theater, condemning him for unauthorized departure. A letter from the collective about the arrogant actor was sent to the newspaper "Soviet Culture". Only Ada Rogovtseva refused to sign this letter.
Upon his return from Poland, Oleg learned about his dismissal. Then the Borisovs decided to move to Moscow, the actor was accepted into the troupe of the Pushkin Theater under the leadership of Boris Ravensky.
During a tour in the capital of the Bolshoi Drama Theater, Oleg Ivanovich met Georgy Tovstonogov and was invited to the BDT troupe.
Complex nature
Since his dismissal from the Lesya Ukrainka theater, Oleg Borisov has a reputation as a very difficult person with a difficult character. Even Tovstonogov, with whom Oleg Ivanovich really liked to work, spoke about this quality of an actor. Although all its complexity came from the desire to reach the very depths of the role entrusted to him. He could argue to the point of hoarseness if his vision of the character of the hero was at odds with the director's perception. And at the same time, Oleg Ivanovich was always ready to become plasticine in the hands of the director, if he realized that he was right, he could be a co-author, if he saw the benefit from it.
Alla Romanovna always supported her husband, helped him cope with difficulties and did not understand why he was considered a difficult person. She was always easy and calm with him.
Family man Borisov
Only the illness of the spouse gave them both a lot of trouble. Few people in the theater knew that Oleg Borisov had been fighting chronic lymphocytic leukemia for 16 years. He invariably went on stage, acted in films and never complained.
In 1983, Oleg Ivanovich's dream came true: he began to play in the Moscow Art Theater. After he played in the theater of the Soviet Army, he organized his own Theater "Entreprise Oleg Borisov".
He was called "Borisov Family Man" for his sincere devotion to his family. He proudly wrote that they are always three: he, his wife and son, who became a filmmaker.
On February 3, they always celebrated the day of the creation of their family. On the fortieth anniversary of their life together, they congratulated each other in the hospital, since by this time the actor no longer got out of bed. Three years before the anniversary, the couple got married. On April 28, 1994, he was gone.
Oleg Ivanovich kept diaries all his life, which Alla Romanovna read after he left. He wrote about her too.
Oleg Borisov did not like his role in the film "Chasing Two Hares", but for
