He was supposed to become a military man, but, having passed two state exams, he took the documents from the Tallinn Military-Political School, firmly deciding to enter the theater. Mikhail Porechenkov made many mistakes in life, betrayed a loved one, almost ruined his artistic career due to star fever. He dreamed of real family happiness, but he could find it only on the third attempt. And now, more than anything in the world, he values his home and those closest to him.
The first love
Mikhail Porechenkov dreamed of creativity since childhood, but at the insistence of his parents he entered a military school. There were only 10 days left until he received his diploma, when he took the documents, firmly deciding to enter the theater.
And shortly before that, in Tallinn, he met his first love, Irina Lyubimtseva. This name still echoes with pain in his heart. He was young and happy, and she endlessly trusted her knight: strong, brave and so charming.
Mikhail left to enter the theater institute and, of course, promised to return. Irina did not tell him that she was expecting a baby. He was carried away by his new life so much that he forgot both his first love and his promises.
Irina gave birth to a child and proudly decided to raise him on her own. She died in 1995 when her son was only 5 years old. Vladimir was brought up in a family of relatives, but he always knew who his father was. He saw him on the screen, but for a long time did not dare to appear in his life.
Vladimir was already 19 when he called his dad for the first time in his life. They managed to find a common language, and Mikhail Porechenkov, realizing his guilt in front of his son, tries to compensate him for the love and paternal care that he did not receive in childhood. Vladimir graduated from the Shchepkinsky School, and now he works with his father on the same stage at the Chekhov Theater.
First marriage
Mikhail Porechenkov met with Ekaterina at one of the events that he led. A charming girl at the same evening worked as a translator. They were introduced to each other by Vladimir Shevelkov. The romance flared up rapidly, and it seemed to the lovers that their feelings would always live.
They registered their relationship without even thinking about how hasty their decision was. Mikhail and Ekaterina were young and ambitious at the time. They both wanted to build a career without thinking that family is also work, and without a break for the weekend.
Katya tried to build her own business and did not want to be a simple housewife at all. Mikhail at that time had already become a fairly popular actor, and star fever did not pass him by. By his own admission, he longed for recognition not only in cinema and theater, he expected a special attitude towards himself and in the family.
In 1998, Mikhail and Ekaterina had a daughter, Varvara. But even having a child could not save this marriage. To Mikhail's credit, it must be said that he never left his daughter without paternal attention, took the most active and active part in her upbringing. At the age of 10, Varvara starred in the film "D-Day" with her dad. Mikhail Porechenkov himself not only played the main role in this film, but also acted as a director.
After graduating from school, Varvara decided to become a producer, enrolling in the corresponding faculty of the Moscow Art Theater School.
The warmth of the hearth
Mikhail Porechenkov met the artist Olga during the filming of one of the films in 1999. Sympathy between them flared up almost instantly, but Mikhail, who had already gone through a divorce, now treated his feelings rather carefully. But one day she and Olga got to the church, where they were mistaken for newlyweds who had come to the wedding. It was at that moment that the actor realized that this girl was his destiny.
They became husband and wife in 2000, and since then Mikhail Porechenkov has understood the most important thing: there is not and cannot be anything more important in his life than family. In 2002, the couple had a son, named after their father Mikhail, two years later a daughter, Maria, was born, and in 2010 the family was replenished with another son, Petenka.
Olga Porechenkova has become a real homemaker, devoting herself to her husband and children. Mikhail Porechenkov assumed the functions of the head of the family, but at the same time admits that they make all important decisions in life collectively. When the couple decided to build a large country house, Olga decided all the questions about the construction and design of the family nest, and Mikhail took over the financial support.
Now the family permanently lives outside the city, the children of Olga and Mikhail study at the Orthodox gymnasium, additionally go in for music and sports.
The actor believes that now he is absolutely happy. He has a favorite job and a strong family. In 2015, he also became a grandfather: the daughter of Miroslav was born in the family of the eldest son Vladimir. Mikhail Porechenkov believes that having made many mistakes in his youth, he learned to correctly set priorities and live in harmony with himself and the world around him.
