To begin with, it should be noted that absolutely nothing foreshadowed Oleg's stellar destiny in the future. He was born and spent his childhood in the small town of Gusev, in the Kaliningrad region. His parents were front-line soldiers. Father is a career officer, a major who went through the whole war. Mother is a cardiologist who rescued soldiers in hospitals.

After the end of the war, the Kaliningrad region was literally stuffed with weapons, ammunition scattered around, mines planted in the vicinity. Oleg and the boys often looked for these "treasures" and dragged them home. So, once a little mischievous guy, finding a machine gun, played with it at home while it fell and injured the child's finger. Mom had to urgently save her son. And another time, the military barely managed to drag little Oleg away from the mine, which he was trying to smash with a stone.

And, in order to settle down the fidget and the mischievous person, the parents enrolled in a music school in the violin class. The boy was not entirely lucky with the teachers. Two years later, he simply escaped from there. But secretly from a strict mother in the 6th grade I went to the gymnastics section. And despite the fact that it was too late for a sports career, the purposeful Oleg achieved excellent results and entered the regional gymnastics team. But he soon had to give up sports due to a serious leg injury.

After school Gazmanov graduated from the Higher Marine Engineering School in Kaliningrad with a "red" diploma. The future singer went to sea on ships, taught and worked on a dissertation. He was engaged in science from the 3rd year and was invited to the military department. There he lectured, worked on a dissertation. But he did not continue his career as a scientist, as he realized that in conditions of "stagnation" it was futile. He went to the reserve with the rank of captain of the 3rd rank.

Music is his life

Despite the fact that young Gazmanov did not work out with the musician, he had good vocal abilities and an excellent ear for music. At a very young age, he mastered the guitar on his own and played masterfully at school evenings. Already in the 9th grade, the guy was amazed at how music affects the children. It was during those years that he began to compose music. And looking into the eyes of enthusiastic young fans, he first felt like an artist. However, he did not immediately decide to make music his profession. Nevertheless, both in the "sailor" and working at the department, Oleg continued to compose music and perform in amateur performances. Gazmanov's solo career began in one of the restaurants in his hometown. At the turn of the 70s and 80s, the singer played in VIA Atlantis, Blue Bird, Visit, Divo.

Finally, realizing that people like his performance, Oleg decided to do what he loved professionally. He entered the music school in the guitar class and graduated in 1981, when he was already married. To support his family, Oleg worked as a musician in restaurants, where, of course, he earned much more than a Ph. D.

For a long time Gazmanov wrote music, but somehow he did not dare to compose the words to the songs. But one day he wrote a dedication to his first girlfriend Lucy and planned to sing it himself. However, at the last moment, the words were redone and it was decided that the song would be sung by Gazmanov's little son, Rodion. Thus, the country heard the song about the unfortunate lost yard dog Lucy, which became an overnight hit. Many people remembered and fell in love with this composition after its release in the popular musical program "Morning Mail".

This is how Rodion Gazmanov's stellar career began. But this hit glorified Gazmanov Sr. even more. Inspired by success, Oleg wrote his main hits one after another, which to this day make up his repertoire and do not lose popularity. Since the 90s, the name of the singer thundered all over the country. Perhaps this is the only artist in Russia who, in terms of the number of concerts and the number of audience, practically caught up with Alla Pugacheva.

In 1989, Gazmanov created the Squadron group, with which he toured throughout the country and abroad. By the way, the band's calling card - the song "Squadron" stayed at the top of the charts for a whole year and a half - an unprecedented case. The singer lived with his first wife for 22 years. They met in Kaliningrad during their student years. In the distant 1970s, Gazmanov, a student of the nautical school, began to meet with a student of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology named Irina. In 1975, young people got married, and six years later, Irina gave birth to a son, Rodion, who, from early childhood, followed in the footsteps of his parent. In the late 1980s, little Rodion often performed with his father, and in 2013 he independently recorded his first solo album.

A couple of years after the birth of their son, the family moved to Moscow. For a long time, their marriage was considered exemplary. However, nothing lasts forever in this world. Oleg's fame and dizzying popularity grew very quickly, and his wife Irina found it difficult to adapt to public life. She constantly felt "out of place". However, the break in relations between the spouses did not happen because of this. As the artist himself admitted: the fault lies entirely with him.

Once the musician fell in love with another woman, and although he continued to live with Irina for some time, it soon became clear that this could not continue. The breakup was painful, but there was no other way out. Leaving the family, the musician left everything that he had earned by that time: a house, a car, an apartment. By the way, to this day he supports Irina financially, who returned back to Kaliningrad. The musician's new love story began in 1988 in Voronezh, where he toured with concerts. Once the famous singer saw a girl in a bright pink raincoat through the car window and fell in love with her at first sight. Through his agent, he gave the girl an invitation to his concert. And she, although she did not have any special feelings for the work of our hero, nevertheless came to the performance - and, of course, was deeply impressed by both the energy, and charisma, and the incredible skill of Gazmanov.

After the speech, they exchanged phone numbers, Oleg returned to Moscow. And the girl, realizing that Oleg has another family, tried in every possible way to avoid conversations and meetings, but it was very difficult to deny herself the pleasure of seeing and hearing this interesting musician. And he, in turn, looked in every possible way for a reason to meet and to communicate, again and again inviting his beloved to his concerts. In the end, the girl moved to Moscow and married … another. This marriage was doomed. And soon after the mutual divorces, Oleg and Marina began to live together.

The chosen one of Gazmanov was Marina Muravyova (born 1969), a native of Voronezh. In the past, an economist, now an amateur designer. She was married to Vyacheslav Mavrodi, the brother of Sergei Mavrodi, the founder of the notorious "MMM". In 1997, Vyacheslav, as vice president of the company, was convicted. Marina, being at that time pregnant from her husband, divorced him. And Oleg Gazmanov took her from the maternity hospital with her son Philip.

Thus, at the end of 1997, Gazmanov and his beloved began to live together, and only five years later the couple legalized their relationship. The reason was Marina's pregnancy, who in December 2003 gave birth to Oleg's daughter Marianna.

In addition, due to heavy physical exertion, Oleg, who previously went in for sports, developed a displacement of the vertebrae, and now he periodically experiences severe back pain. Family for our hero is sacred. Despite the busy schedule, he always finds time to be at home with loved ones. Oleg and Marina are raising two children: Philip and Marianne.
