A year later, he made another attempt, and this time it was successful - he was admitted to GITIS. And then he had to make every effort in order not to miss the chance and complete his studies. Before the final exams, Pavel fainted several times due to physical and nervous strain, and this happened even during his graduation performance. His efforts were not in vain: while still studying, he began to participate in performances, and after receiving his diploma he performed in several theaters. In one of the productions, director Alexander Kott noticed him and offered him the main role in the film "Two Chauffeurs Rode". So at the age of 25, Derevianko made his film debut.
Universal artist
A few years later the first popularity came to the young actor - after his roles in the film "Shadowboxing" and the TV series "Yesenin" and "Plot". Already at the very beginning of his acting career, Derevianko starred in several new projects every year. The directors considered him a universal artist - he was subject to any role, from the grotesque to the dramatic, but Pavel succeeded best of all in comedic images.
