Since childhood, she dreamed of becoming an actress, but faced opposition from her parents and almost gave up her own dream by going to medical school. But fate was favorable to Alla Danko: already at the age of 30, she first appeared on a television screen. She became the host of the most popular programs on Central Television, fans wrote letters to her and confessed their love, and the presenter herself deliberately refused any attempts to arrange her personal life.
Immature marriage
Alla Danko was born in the difficult post-war period, in 1946, in the family of a television employee and linguist. But the future presenter herself did not feel hardships, her childhood was unusually happy, filled with love and care from close people.
Her parents divorced a few years after the marriage, and the girl was raised by her grandmother, because Alla Danko's mother was a military translator and taught at institutes in Kiev and Odessa. Grandmother was kind, but demanding, she loved order and cleanliness in everything. Later, she fell and was seriously injured, and schoolgirl Alla Danko had to learn how to give injections, measure blood pressure and generally take care of her grandmother.
Already in high school, the girl announced to her parents her desire to become an actress, but both mom and dad were categorically against it. Despite the fact that they had not lived together for a long time, at the family council they showed an enviable unanimity: no theatrical. They also advised the girl to think about medicine, especially since she already had experience of treating a sick person.
Alla Danko entered the medical institute, later graduated from the clinical residency. It was in residency that she met her first husband, Alexander. At that time he worked as an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, very beautifully and romantically looked after Alla, and as a result they became husband and wife.
Unfortunately, at that time they did not have enough life wisdom and patience to keep their family together. No matter how trite, but their love boat just crashed into everyday life, and a year later this marriage broke up.
Happiness destroyed by complexes
She was already 30 years old, Alla Danko was working as a junior researcher when she found out about the competition for the post of announcer of Central Television. She decided to take a chance and went to qualify. She was chosen from a thousand applicants, and Alla Georgievna herself could not believe for a long time that she would become one of those who appear on the television screen every day.
The first two years of work on television, she was so carried away that she did not notice anyone or anything around her. She worked hard, took art lessons and prepared stories.
After, at her friend's birthday party, Alla Danko met Valery Kornilov. He appeared in the company of a friend of the host, but Alla went to see off. And then he courted Alla for another three years, seeking her hand and heart. He looked after beautifully, paid the girl a lot of attention, taught her to ride on horse-drawn trams, took her to rest and showed his feelings in every possible way.
Alla and Valery became husband and wife, and soon their son Vasily was born. And family life was not at all like a fairy tale. The husband was jealous of Alla Danko not only for professional success, but also for her family, with whom the presenter always maintained very close and warm relations.
Valery began to humiliate his wife with insults, calling her "a simple announcer." At some point, Alla Georgievna's patience ran out. She took her little son and simply left her husband, realizing that such an attitude cannot be tolerated, so as not to lose her self-esteem and respect for herself. After the divorce, the ex-husband never saw or communicated with their son Vasily. Only once did he come to the school where his son studied, but Vasily did not even recognize him. Thanks to his mother and her endless love, the boy was not burdened by the absence of a father in his life.
Moreover, it was at that time that Alla Danko's relationship with her father, grandfather Vasya, with whom they had not communicated for 25 years, was restored. A very warm relationship was established between grandfather and grandson, they fell in love with each other. And even Alla Danko's mother was able to resume communication with her ex-husband. Unfortunately, grandfather Vasily was soon diagnosed with cancer and his life was short-lived. In recent years, it was Alla Georgievna who was next to her father and helped him fight for his life.
Sad story
Alla Danko made another attempt to become happy. She does not like to remember her third marriage, and her son says that he himself learned a lesson from that sad story and understood how you can’t behave under any circumstances if you consider yourself a man.
Alla Georgievna admits that she experienced incredible disappointment, and the injuries caused by a three-year marriage and subsequent divorce took a very long time to heal. The famous presenter never talks about what exactly she had to endure, but it was after this story that she simply put an end to her personal life and decided to live for loved ones.
She is happy that her son Vasily grew up, first of all, a good person. He graduated from law school, but later connected his life with television. He started working as an assistant producer, after that he was engaged in literally everything, was an assistant director and director, was engaged in producing, now he is trying himself as a presenter.
Alla Georgievna today enjoys communication with her son and beloved grandson Gosha, heads the Dankoproduction company and runs a creative workshop at the Higher National School of Television.
Alla Danko considers herself a happy person. She has a wonderful family, a favorite job, and most importantly, she managed to achieve everything that she once dreamed of in her youth. She is full of plans and creative hopes, surrounded by the love of loved ones and is sure that dreams should come true.
At one time, television presenters were recognized on the streets, they were waiting for their appearance on the screens along with the TV programs that they aired. And sometimes they themselves became not just a visiting card, but also a talisman of their program. Many of them still work in television, they are still successful and famous.
