In the late 1980s, the entire vast country began to sing along with Alice Mon when she appeared on the screens with her hit "Plantain". She was bright, perky and seemed very independent. During the concerts, she easily held an audience of thousands and won over millions of listeners with her talent. From the outside, the life of Alice Mon seemed like a fairy tale, but as soon as the lights went out and the singer left the stage, a real nightmare began, which seemed to have no end …

The singer who did not know the notes

Svetlana Bezukh, barely born, was able to surprise even the doctors in the maternity hospital in Slyudyanka, where her family lived. Before bursting into crying, like all babies, she made a piercing “and-and-and-and-and” in a thin voice, and only after that did she move on to the usual cry.

Since childhood, she loved the songs of Alla Pugacheva and Yuri Antonov, adored Valery Obodzinsky, and wrote songs herself. At school, not a single concert or graduation was complete without her participation. But the future star's relationship with the music school did not work out due to the student's unwillingness to retrain from her own manner of playing to the generally accepted method.

As a result, the girl, after receiving a certificate of maturity, entered the polytechnic, but it did not work out with Alice Mon's studies. Six months later, she took the documents from the institute, worked as a laboratory assistant at the school, then entered the pedagogical department, from where she also left. The medical school also turned out to be closed to her after the first lesson in anatomy in the morgue, where the student almost fainted from horror.

When she entered the pop-jazz faculty of the Novosibirsk Music College, Alisa Mon showed herself brilliantly during auditions, she played and sang, and on the solfeggio exam it suddenly became clear: she does not know a single note. Naturally, she did not enter, but was determined to receive a musical education. I found a teacher, began to study. And after that, Vladimir Sultanov, the teacher of the pop-jazz department and the head of the jazz orchestra, took her in, where Alisa Mon (then still Svetlana Bezukh) became a soloist.

She began to sing at Sultanov's, then, together with her friends, she began to perform in the nearest cafe "Eureka", and then she was taken as a singer to "Intourist", one of the best and most popular restaurants in Novosibirsk.

By that time, Alice Mon had already married her colleague, musician Vasily Marinin, but this marriage did not last long. The spouses were too young, and the spouse's passion for alcohol did not add passion to the relationship. Alice Mon met the man who changed her whole life and at the same time became her evil genius at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, where her grandmother's sister Alice worked.

Evil genius

Composer Sergei Muravyov was just creating his own group and was looking for musicians. Alice Mon immediately suggested that the guys who worked with her at Eureka try it. Muravyov then took everyone except the girl, informing categorically: women in the group always become the cause of the collapse of the collective.

But after hearing the recordings of the performer, he changed his mind, and Alisa Mon became the soloist of "Labyrinth", and then the wife of its founder. He left his first wife to her, while the singer admits: Sergei Muravyov left her no choice. I just came once and stayed forever.

Alice treated the leader as a supreme deity, caught his every word, admired, worshiped. And she wondered: why did he, successful and so talented, need some girl, while the wife of Sergei Muravyov was more beautiful and smarter than Alice herself? But he made his choice.

The spouse, in fact, brought Alice to fame, wrote music to the poems of Mikhail Tanich and released the song "Plantain". He organized tours, made useful contacts and promoted his wife. By that time he had disbanded the group, he was only concerned with Alice. And completely subdued her to himself.

He was terribly jealous of his wife, humiliated her not only morally, but also physically, he took all the singer's fees for himself. And leaving the house, he locked his wife with a key outside. Without him, she could not even go anywhere. Several times the singer left her husband, but he always returned her, unmistakably determining the place where she was hiding.

He checked where and to whom she called, did not tolerate even the passing glances of his wife towards the stronger sex. At all negotiations, she was obliged to be silent, lowering her eyes. As soon as this rule was violated, a scandal awaited Alice upon returning home.

Sergei Muravyov completely controlled her life, called her “the girl from the trash heap,” he could hit, promised to put her out the door without things and money, sending her to all four sides in Eva's suit. Nothing has changed in his attitude towards his wife even after the appearance of his son, Sergei Jr. Once, when Seryozha was only two and a half years old, Alice asked her neighbor through the keyhole to call her parents with a request to come and pick her up.

They arrived, but could not get into the house - they were waiting for Sergei's return. And when Muravyov returned, he simply took his son and disappeared in an unknown direction. Alice had to spend more than one day until she found her son. Pretending that she was ready for the sake of her son to continue to live with her tyrant husband, Alice managed to lull his vigilance and, seizing the moment, to escape with a small child.

From scratch

She left for her native Slyudyanka in the Irkutsk region, worked in a recreation center in Angarsk, raised her son, and even after the divorce, she was desperately afraid of meeting her ex-husband. I have always remembered the feeling of sticky paralyzing fear in front of him. He promised to take away from her even the name that she invented for herself as a pseudonym, but then she received a passport in which she began to appear as Alice Mon.

Many years later, she was able to return to Moscow, although she could no longer achieve her former success, but she was also glad that she had an apartment in the capital. She could calmly walk the streets and not flinch at every sharp sound. Alisa Mon works, for the most part, in clubs, continues to write music, and in 2020 she took part in the Superstar! Return.

On February 2, 2020, Sergey Muravyov passed away. Alice Mon has forgiven him for a long time, but did not forget how he mocked her. Subsequently, she repeatedly tried to arrange her life, but for some reason all the men of Alice Mon tried to prove their worth at her expense. She, taught by bitter experience, at the slightest manifestation of rigidity on their part, immediately broke off the relationship.

She has long put an end to her personal life, deciding to devote herself to music, son, beloved work. After going through humiliation, fear and domestic violence once, she decided not to let anyone else ruin her life.

Alice Mon was not the only star to face domestic violence. they talk openly about their bitter experiences and admit: it was the most terrible time in their lives.
