Their family life was not cloudless. Rumors, parting, stormy reconciliation. But the real price of their love became clear at the moment when Nikolai Karachentsov stopped at the edge of life. Lyudmila Porgina did not give him up to death. She pulled him out and learned to love the new, unfamiliar but so dear Nicholas.
Love as insight
They met in Lenkom in 1973. Nikolai Karachentsov had been in the troupe for six years, and they were just going to introduce Lyudmila Porgina into the first performance. On tour in Leningrad, she was sitting in the auditorium during a rehearsal, when this strange and even somewhat awkward actor appeared on the stage. But after five minutes she realized that she definitely could not live without him. It was impossible: Lyudmila was married for the second time. Yes, and Nikolai had some kind of romance.
But the girl was aware that she was madly drawn to a young man, she really wants to marry him. She felt his sympathy, blushed when he looked at her, smiled at her. Nikolai often came to her dressing room with a guitar, a lot of colleagues gathered around him.
Once Lyudmila could not stand it. After the next gatherings, she asked him to stay. And, looking into his eyes, she confessed her feelings. It turned out that it was not in vain. He fell in love with her at the moment of the first meeting, but did not consider himself entitled to interfere in her life. They both completely immersed themselves in this relationship. Nikolai proposed to her, Lyudmila decided to finally part with her husband.
Expectation
She had long been divorced, and Karachentsov seemed to have forgotten about his proposal. He constantly toured, acted a lot in films, rehearsed. Luda consoled herself that he was too busy to think about the registry office now.
For two years she patiently waited for him to remember his proposal. He spent a whole month with a delegation in the United States. During this time, a very real admirer appeared in Lyudmila's life, a German businessman who promised to make her happy. The foreigner longed to see the Russian actress as his wife. Lyudmila refused the German, but used him in her own game.
When Nikolai returned, she told him about the admirer, as if she was asking for advice: should she marry him, since Kolenka does not need her. They filed an application almost immediately. On August 1, 1975, Lyudmila Porgina became the wife of Nikolai Karachentsov.
Family weekdays
At first, they both simply enjoyed the closeness of each other. Nikolai turned out to be an amazingly caring and loving husband. He tirelessly pampered his girl, as he called her. And the girl diligently looked after her Wheelchair.
In 1978, their son Andryusha was born. From that moment on, Lyudmila devoted herself to her family. Nikolai, on the other hand, flew rapidly up the professional ladder. He became more and more popular, fans besieged him, performances with his participation gathered full houses. Lyudmila was now in the shadow of her eminent husband.
They began to pester her with rumors about her husband's numerous novels, sometimes with one actress, then with another. But was it possible to believe it if he flew at her every call. At any time of the day or night, as soon as she called and said: "I need you," he was immediately there. But what it cost her to survive all these rumors, no one knew. Even Mark Zakharov doubted whether she could reliably play a dramatic role. After all, her life from the outside seemed like a continuous holiday.
Never once did he reproach her for a new fur coat instead of the alleged purchase of materials for repairs. From all the trips I brought her and her son countless gifts. He tried his best to fully provide for his wife and son.
Life in spite of
In February 2005, a real disaster struck their family. In Lyudmila's arms her mother died, Nikolai hurried to his wife to help and support her in difficult times. At one point, everything turned over, he lost control of the car.
Lyudmila was informed about the second misfortune … She was confused for a moment. Then I realized: I urgently needed to save my husband, because my mother could not be returned. And she began to act. It's hard to convey what she went through. Resuscitation, coma, operations one after another.
She taught her husband everything and desperately waited for her beloved Kolasia to return. But the doctor carefully explained to her: the former Karachentsov will not return, you need to learn to love him to others. But Lyudmila did not need to learn anything. She loved him by anyone. And she prayed to God only for the preservation of the life of her beloved, the only man on Earth.
Thanks to Lyudmila, Nikolai Karachentsov began to slowly recover. He learned to eat, drink, talk, walk. At some point, it seemed that he had already escaped from the clutches of disability. Suddenly, in 2012, after a nervous breakdown, the artist's nerve endings died away, everything started all over again.
Fortitude of Spirit and Fortitude of Love
Despite the fact that it is very difficult for the actor to walk and talk, he constantly appears in public. With difficulty comes to the place and passionately absorbs everything that happens around. Many are perplexed why his wife tortures him with these appearances. In fact, this is the husband's initiative.
He desperately wants to live, wants to be in the thick of things, to feel human attention. It is important for him to live a full life, even in such a difficult situation. Therefore, every day he stubbornly does exercises, works with a masseur, goes for walks. Through strength, through pain, through suffering. He wants to live. Only live. Lyudmila became a part of her husband for her. She helps him with every movement.
Nikolai Karachentsov once asked his wife: shouldn't he have died right away, on that terrible day. To which she was even offended. He must live. She loves him, she is only happy with him. Therefore, he simply has to live.
He is eagerly in a hurry to see all unfamiliar places, so the couple travel a lot. Nikolai really wanted to return to the profession, thanks to his wife, he even starred in a small cameo in the movie “White Dew. Return . At the premiere, the audience in the hall watched this episode while standing.
They once again proved that they can do anything. Because only true love can perform a real miracle.
Nikolai Karachentsov and Lyudmila Porgina showed what love is capable of. Valentin Gaft and Olga Ostroumova they didn't have to prove anything, they know for sure: in good fairy tales there is always a happy ending.
