Society is so arranged that someone accepts the surrounding reality as it is, and someone tries to transform and improve it. The activists from Chelyabinsk, which will be discussed below, are sure: you should not expect mercy from government officials, you need to work for the good of your city. Recently, they independently improved the lawn near the house, now, instead of puddles and a broken curb, there is green grass and an equipped parking lot.
The guy who initiated the transformation of the lawn is Danil. He is one of the residents of Chelyabinsk, who turned out to care what landscape to see from the window every morning. Mud, puddles, chaotically parked cars and broken asphalt bored him so much that he decided to find a way to change everything.
Danil caught sight of information about local activists - the Chelyabinsk Urbanist group, which is engaged in the improvement of the urban environment. The urbanists have already had several successful projects: they are returning pedestrian zebras on the roads to the city, testing ramps in underground passages, painting dull utility bins with bright drawings, and keeping an eye on sidewalks. This time, their specialists agreed to prepare a blueprint for a lawn project for Danil.
Before hiring contractors, Danil contacted the local administration to approve the project, but he could not get a positive answer. Considering that the guy was ready to independently finance all the work, he decided to do everything on his own. And he did not regret it, in a matter of days the lawn under his windows was transformed. Drivers now park only in the designated place, and the green grass pleases the townspeople. Once again, a simple truth has been confirmed: if you want changes, you need to start with yourself. I would like to believe that the example given by the guy from Chelyabinsk will be indicative for other people as well.
The story of how the man independently cleared the embankment of debris, at first glance, it seems incredible, but it is - the truth.
