Unique art project with a funny name Pop pop bang bang introduced to the public the photographer Thomas brown and artist Anna burns on the streets of London. They built several original installations, using several dozen colored umbrellas as "building materials". The authors of the project describe their creation in three words: cinema, photos and explosions. But to be more precise, then "weapons, explosions and naked women", since it is these themes, in their view, that all directors, without exception, play up in their films.
Since the installations of the art duo "demonstrate the masculinity of category B films", it is necessary to follow all the canons of the modern film industry. Special effects, entertainment, colorful pictures - all this is reflected in the Pop Pop Bang Bang project. Unless the umbrellas with multi-colored prints were used as special effects, from which the "shots" from the movies were formed, the same trinity of "weapons, explosions and naked women" mentioned above. The umbrellas have become pieces of the puzzle, since each of them depicts only part of the main pattern. Putting them together and installing them on the frame, the authors of the project got one big picture, which will decorate the outskirts of London for some time.
Thomas Brown and Anna Burns placed three movie frames from puzzle umbrellas in three places of the British capital popular with tourists. The video filmed for this project can be seen on the website of the art duo.
