The protagonists of this video are the pupils of the kindergarten of the Gulyakandoz village of the Sughd region of Tajikistan. On Victory Day and in memory of the Alexandrov choir, they sang the song "Darkie" from the cult film "Only old men go to battle."
Kindergarten teachers in the Gulyakandoz village have creatively approached the festive events. Together with their pupils, they learned a song from a famous film and made uniforms for the children - gymnastics and caps from the Great Patriotic War.
The video spread over the Internet almost instantly. Almost 5 million people watched it on the Odnoklassniki social network in a couple of days. In Tajikistan, the video was appreciated and thanked the educators and children for the excellent video.
Recall that for the first time the Alexandrov ensemble performed this song in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in 1944. And since the concert was broadcast on the radio, a lot of people heard the "Smuglyanka". Both in the rear and at the front. And although the song was about the events of the civil war, they perceived it as a song about the partisans who fought for the freedom of Moldova in the Great Patriotic War.
And in continuation of the theme, a story about what was left behind the scenes of the film "Only old men go to battle": why was Leonid Bykov forbidden to shoot.
