Opera singer Maria Maksakova, widow of State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, who was killed in Ukraine, has returned to Russia. This is reported by the NTV channel, which recently released a sensational interview with the singer. According to the authors of the New Russian Sensations program, in which the interview was published, Maksakova kept her return to Russia a secret. Since the direct communication between Kiev and Moscow has been canceled, the singer flew with a transfer in Istanbul.

In 2020, Maksakova appeared on the air of Russian TV channels via video link. In particular, she passed a DNA test of relationship with Joseph Stalin and disclosed its results in "Let the Talk" on Channel One.

In 2016, Maria Maksakova, together with her husband, also a former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, left Russia for Ukraine. At the time of his departure, Voronenkov was arrested in absentia in the case of a raider seizure of a building in Moscow. After emigration, he was put on the international wanted list. On March 23, 2017, Voronenkov was killed in the center of Kiev.

Maria in an interview with the media said that after her return from Ukraine to Russia, her mother, People's Artist Lyudmila Maksakova, refused to communicate with her. At the same time, Maria herself wants to meet. “But this desire is not mutual. But my beloved daughter was glad. I really hope that on this visit we will finally talk to her more,”she said.

However, according to information from reliable sources, Maksakova does not plan to stay in Russia. She explains that she came here in order to undergo an examination appointed by a Moscow court on the story of an expensive apartment allegedly stolen from her. The singer suspects a former employee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Denis Panaitov of the scam. After the formalities are settled, the artist plans to return to Ukraine.

“This is not only about the return of property, but also about justice. As soon as I prove that Panaitov stole my apartment, I think I can initiate a criminal case against him. In mid-February, I plan to go back to Kiev,”she said.

The woman added that she was afraid for her life, because she also suspects Denis Panaitov of the murder of her husband.

Earlier, "PD" wrote that Maria Maksakova won the court and returned the apartment for 100 million. The opera diva was able to prove that she gave an expensive apartment to her ex-husband, being depressed.
