The fact that a wonderful Soviet actress, in addition to her talent, had an incredibly sharp tongue, today, unfortunately, is known to the younger generation much better than the roles in which she shone. Faina Georgievna really was an inexhaustible storehouse of humor, and her figurative, juicy phrases were immediately taken away by rumor, turning them into anecdotes. However, much later this led to a strange, reverse violation of copyright: Ranevskaya today is credited with such a number of witticisms that she simply would not have had time to say in her entire life. Now, in order to separate the present from the attributed, it remains only to rely on the memories of contemporaries who have preserved the memory of this unique person.

All the acquaintances of Faina Georgievna knew how much she hated her own phrase, which became her "crown number" for the audience. Almost all the fans, recognizing the actress, shouted to her: These words from the movie "Foundling" instantly turned into a catch phrase. By the way, her authorship was contested by three beautiful ladies: Agniya Lvovna Barto, who wrote the script for the film, Rina Zelenaya (co-author) and Ranevskaya herself, the actress talked about this in 1964 in the Kinopanorama program. Faina Georgievna really often improvised and came up with texts for her heroines, so there is nothing surprising in this. However, in this case, she really "dug a hole for herself with her own hands."

It is interesting that Ranevskaya considered her role in the film "Foundling" to be one of the most insignificant for herself, so she simply hated the unexpected popularity, but "Mulya" pursued the actress at every step. The last straw was the presentation of the Order of Lenin in 1976, when Leonid Brezhnev, presenting the order to the 80-year-old actress, said: Ranevskaya replied:. The General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee was embarrassed and added:

Everyone really loved her. Even Joseph Vissarionovich himself, comparing the talents of our actors, once remarked: And this despite the fact that she had practically no leading roles, even in theatrical productions. The humorist Emil Krotkiy joked about this very nicely: Faina Gergievna herself was ironic about her talent, but she really approached the selection of roles seriously. In her expression, In general, her own life most often became a reason for jokes for Ranevskaya. For example, having settled in an apartment, under which there was a cinema and a bakery, she sarcastically:; about the hole in the skirt she explained:; the actress was philosophical about how she herself looks:; and falling on the street, she could demand from a stranger:

Judging by the recollections of friends, acquaintances and colleagues, most often Faina Georgievna was outraged by human stupidity. Her statements on this matter can really be collected in a collection of philosophical quotes:

Meeting with the manifestations of this sparkling, but sometimes too sharp humor, people, more often than not, ran to write down the "flying out" phrase and spread it to their acquaintances. However, some answered … It turns out that one of the most figurative statements of Faina Georgievna has a wonderful continuation. In the memoirs of the actress, her dialogue with an old friend, actor and director Solomon Mikhoels is described:

The director, without hesitation, replied:

Ranevskaya went on a well-deserved rest at the age of 86! In her own words,. Age, of course, was also a great occasion for her to joke. She could well say to herself: or: Shortly before her death, she wrote with sarcasm:

There were, in fact, the actress and other phrases - bitter and sad, about the talent that destroyed personal happiness, about the terrible loneliness, it is worth remembering at least her sacramental: however, we still love her sharp, but incredibly optimistic statements …

Faina Ranevskaya, by her own admission, experienced an unsuccessful romance in her youth, and all her life after that she lived alone. And her fate was repeated by many actresses. So why celebrities of the first magnitude were left completely alone at the end of their lives.
