Inna Makarova was one of the most famous and sought-after actresses of the Soviet Union. She played many bright roles and devoted herself entirely to the profession. Her first marriage to director Sergei Bondarchuk, unfortunately, lasted only 12 years, and the divorce made a lot of noise at the time. Inna Makarova lived with the famous surgeon Mikhail Perelman for over 40 years. But the actress never officially became his wife.
Crossing of destinies
For the first time, Inna Makarova and Mikhail Perelman met at a time when the future luminary of medicine was a student and worked in a hospital in Novosibirsk. The actress visited her sick mother there and even met a novice physician. But that time they somehow did not pay much attention to each other, and fate immediately separated them for long 30 years.
Inna Makarova was already a very famous actress when doctors diagnosed her with asthma. She herself took the disease very lightly: as soon as she felt relief, she stopped taking the pills prescribed by the doctor, as they contributed to weight gain.
She completely ignored the warning of doctors about the need to take care of herself and not be in the heat or cold. Therefore, I easily agreed to a trip with a delegation of Soviet artists to Egypt. There, in conditions of extreme heat and high humidity, Inna Makarova began to have severe attacks of suffocation. The actress ended up in the hospital, and the entire delegation flew to the USSR without her.
After a while in Moscow, Inna Vladimirovna rushed to find a good doctor. It was then that someone from her acquaintances advised her to contact Mikhail Perelman. At the same time, Inna Makarova wanted to solve problems not only with asthma, but also with kidney stones, and her mother also needed a good doctor's consultation.
Mikhail Izrailevich was considered a good specialist for a reason. He tirelessly saved the lives of people, and helped Inna Vladimirovna to quickly get back on her feet. Since then, they almost never parted. They also joked that they could live a whole life together if they considered and felt each other in their youth.
Tenderness without any romance
Inna Makarova said in her interviews that there was no romance in their life. No ardent confessions, incredible follies or feats for the sake of love. Both of them worked hard and were too busy to be wasted on all sorts of extravagance. They didn’t come home too often. Only once did Inna Vladimirovna ask Mikhail Perelman if he loved her.
He slightly casually waved his hand and said he loved. The actress was even slightly offended then, it seemed to her that he said the wrong thing, but with the wrong intonation. Only when Mikhail Izrailevich died did Inna Vladimirovna understand: he did not consider it necessary to speak, but preferred to prove his feelings with deeds.
But they never reached the registry office. As Natalya Bondarchuk, the daughter of Inna Makarova, admitted, Mikhail Perelman officially always remained the husband of Tatyana Boguslavskaya, in a marriage with whom two twin sons were born, one of whom was seriously ill. But Mikhail Izrailevich and Inna Vladimirovna did not need a stamp in their passport to be happy.
Mikhail Perelman took his wife to the Crimea every year and constantly monitored her breathing, which reduced the likelihood of asthma attacks. Inna Makarova always got up at six in the morning to prepare a fresh breakfast for her husband and take him to work. And in the evening, if she was not on the set or on tour, the actress certainly waited for her husband with a hot dinner on the table.
They invariably appeared together in the theater and it was immediately obvious how happy these two adults were. Inna Makarova, a proud beauty who once made many mistakes in her first marriage, completely changed when she met her later happiness.
She subordinated her whole life to her brilliant husband. Everything in their apartment was made so that it was comfortable, first of all, for Mikhail Izrailevich. He was a very cheerful and sociable person, the soul of any company. He also knew four languages and traveled all over the world with his lectures. Inna Makarova was proud of her husband, and he was proud of his beautiful and talented unmarried wife.
As the daughter of the actress says, Inna Makarova, during her life together with Mikhail Perelman, corrected all the female mistakes that she made in her first marriage. She always tried to match her husband, never tired of admiring his talent and nobility. And she was incredibly happy.
They lived together for over 40 years, and when Mikhail Perelman passed away in 2013, his assistant, during her farewell to the talented surgeon, thanked Inna Makarova for “beautifying Misha for so many years of his life”.
The departure of her husband seriously crippled the health of the actress. At first, she constantly cried and did not understand how to live on. The daughter, Natalya Bondarchuk, became the savior this time. She began to take her mother to performances in different cities, began filming in "The Mystery of the Snow Queen", then took her to Austria.
Inna Makarova lived after her husband's death for almost seven years, but she always remembered with gratitude the happy years spent with him. And she never doubted: her husband truly loved her. As she truly and truly loved him even after he left.
In recent years, Inna Makarova rarely appeared on the screens, the peak of her popularity was in the 1950s-1960s, when the films "Young Guard", "Height", "My Dear Man", "Girls", "The Marriage of Balzaminov" and others were released.
