This acting dynasty has been in the spotlight for many decades, and, of course, this is due not only to the hype around the incidents with Mikhail Efremov, but primarily to the fact that not a single resonant production is complete without the participation of one of the representatives of this acting family. Recently, the premiere of the series "Flight" took place, where the main roles were played by Mikhail Efremov, his ex-wife Yevgenia Dobrovolskaya and a son from his second marriage, Nikita. He is called the most closed of all the artists who bear this high-profile name. Only recently it became known that he received it at the age of 12, and when he was born, his mother was Tabakova, not Efremova …
For a long time, Nikita Efremov seemed to many to be a real darling of fate - they say, in such a family and with such a surname, you can not worry about your future. However, in fact, he had to pave the way and prove his own creative viability on his own. His famous grandfather, actor and director, founder of the Sovremennik theater Oleg Efremov, he hardly remembered and did not perceive as a relative - he spent his childhood with another grandfather, his mother's father. When Nikita was 12 years old, Oleg Efremov passed away. And at the same age, the boy finally received the loud surname of his ancestors, which obliged him to a lot.
In childhood, Nikita did not communicate not only with the famous grandfather, but even with his own father - his mother and her parents were engaged in his upbringing. Mikhail Efremov broke up with her when her son was only a year old, they were not officially married. Moreover, at that time she was the wife of his friend, a representative of another famous dynasty, Anton Tabakov. Because of this, confusion with surnames arose.
The mother of Nikita Efremov, Asya Vorobyova, in childhood herself bore a different name and a different surname. She was a Tatar by nationality and was born in the family of a famous philologist, professor of Moscow State University Robert Bikmukhametov, and at birth she received the name Asiya Bikmukhametov. She herself followed in her father's footsteps and also became a philologist. For the first time, she married a dentist during her student years. This marriage was short-lived and unsuccessful, as was the second attempt to build a family with a man whose name she did not name. But the third husband of Asya Vorobyova was a man whose name the whole country knew - the son of Oleg Tabakov Anton.
Anton Tabakov helped his wife get a job as a literary editor at the Sovremennik-2 theater, which was directed by his friend Mikhail Efremov. The girl could not resist the charm of the famous ladies' man, responded to his advances and decided to leave her husband. But Efremov was in no hurry with the offer of a hand and heart and was not ready to become a father. Shortly after their son Nikita was born in 1988, Asya and Mikhail broke up. The actor married a colleague, Evgenia Dobrovolskaya, who gave him a son, Nikolai. But Asya Vorobyova never married again. Officially, at the time of Nikita's birth, she was still the wife of Anton Tabakov. At birth, he was recorded as Bikmukhametov, later bore his mother's surname, as Nikita himself claimed. Other sources indicate that at first he was Tabakov, until his mother received a divorce, and then took the name of his grandfather. Be that as it may, Nikita received the surname of his own father only at the age of 12.
Mikhail Efremov rarely saw his son, Nikita's mother and her father were involved in raising Nikita. Since both were philologists, they instilled in the boy a love of literature from early childhood. At the same time, he studied at a physics and mathematics school, was fond of sports and music, graduated from a music school in the violin class and did not even think about acting. However, later paternal genes still prevailed, and in 2005 Nikita Efremov entered the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of Konstantin Raikin. Mikhail Efremov did not dissuade his son from deciding to become an actor, but warned him that a difficult path awaited him. At the same time, his father did not provide him with any patronage - he believes that a man should achieve everything himself.
Even at that time, Nikita realized that his loud surname gave more, rather, not privileges, but problems, because he constantly had to prove that he himself was a worthy representative of the third generation of the acting dynasty. Already for his graduation performance "Woe from Wit", he received the first prize "Golden Leaf-2009" for Best Actor. During his student years, Nikita Efremov made his debut in cinema, and after completing his studies he received invitations to several theaters in the capital at once, but opted for his family's native theater, Sovremennik.
When Nikita grew up, they began to communicate more with his father, and he was able to let go of childhood grievances, about which he said: "". At the same time, their communication did not become close in the way it usually happens in families - they did not open up and did not share their experiences, but at the same time they were in touch all the time and were interested in each other's life. When Mikhail Efremov became the culprit of an accident that the whole country was talking about, Nikita tried to support him. He said: "".
Despite this family tragedy, Nikita does not hide the fact that his father remains an example for him - not in his mistakes, but in his work, because Mikhail Efremov for him is, first of all, a first-class professional. About him Nikita says: "".
At 32, Nikita Efremov has already played more than 35 roles, in 2020 alone he starred in three projects that caused a great resonance - the series Safe Connections, The Good Man and Flight. Today he is no longer represented as the son of the famous actor Mikhail Efremov, because he himself has already established himself as an artist who inherited from his father and grandfather not only incredible charm, but also extraordinary talent.
The actor admits that he is equally proud of all his ancestors: "".
Confusion with Nikita's surnames was only one of Secrets of the Efremov Dynasty: Who from the Family Remains in the Shadow of Famous Artists.
