But with his second wife, circus artist Gitana Leontenko, he lived for more than 50 years. The family happiness of the idol of millions of Soviet women was overshadowed by the serious illness of his daughter, of which he considered himself to be the culprit. In fact, his direct fault in the incident was not: due to a medical error during childbirth, their daughter developed cerebral palsy.
