October 9 to the famous Soviet actor Valery Nosik would have turned 77 years old, but in 1995 he died suddenly. His premature departure went unnoticed for most viewers, although his popularity was on an all-Union scale. The fans learned about the reasons for the death of the star of the films "Big Change" and "Operation Y" only years later.
In fact, his surname should not have sounded so comical: his father, Benedict Nosek, was a Pole, and after moving to Ukraine, he decided to simplify the surname and became Nosik. Both his sons - the elder Valery and the younger Vladimir - became artists who were later recognized throughout the Union. Valery became interested in amateur performances from the fourth grade and after leaving school he had no doubts about where to go. However, in VGIK from the first time he was not accepted because of his "non-actor appearance" and a speech defect, and he worked for a year as a fitter at the Likhachev plant. Perhaps, thanks to this experience, he later succeeded so well in the images of ordinary hard workers from the people.
In VGIK, he nevertheless entered and even during his studies began to act in films. His first job was in the 1958 film Knock on Any Door. the actor was constantly busy on the set and in the Youth Theater, on the stage of which he appeared for 3 years. It was there that he met Leah Akhedzhakova and soon married her. And although the couple did not have children and the marriage broke up a few years later, until the end of his days he remembered his first wife with warmth.
Best of all, Valery Nosik succeeded in comedic character roles. As a rule, they were all episodic, but the actor approached each, even a very small role so seriously and creatively, that they never went unnoticed. And if in the script his character looked faded and unimpressive, the actor himself thought out the details that made him vivid and memorable. What are the only Otto Fukin from "Big Change" and the lover of detectives Buttercup from the films about Aniskin! Everyone knew him by sight, he starred a lot, but remained the "king of the episode". Throughout his film career, Valery Nosik played about 130 roles, and most of them are episodic.
Despite his extraordinary talent and memorable appearance, he still could not wait for the main roles. Sometimes they eluded him right before filming began. The finest hour of Valery Nosik could be Gaidai's film "Operation Y" - after all, it was he who was approved for the role of Shurik. At the trial, he managed to bypass Andrei Mironov, Alexander Zbruev and Yevgeny Zharikov, but suddenly, on the eve of filming, Gaidai got his hands on a photo of Alexander Demyanenko. And the director changed his mind and invited him to the main role. True, Nosik also played in this film - as a result, he got the role of a careless student-gambler.
For his unusually light and kind disposition, his colleagues called him the Sun. They said about him: "". Perhaps, had he not been so flexible and dependable, he could have achieved the main roles. The directors with whom the actor had a chance to work also spoke favorably about him. So, Gennady Poloka said: "".
With comedic roles, he coped brilliantly, but, probably, like any actor, he dreamed of dramatic ones. His colleague Boris Klyuev said: "". However, in the 1970s. Valery Nosit was one of the most demanded artists, and he never left without work.
On the set of the film "Hurry to Build a House" in 1970, Valery met actress Maria Sternikova, and immediately after filming ended, they got married. The couple had a son, Alexander Nosik, who followed in the footsteps of his parents and became a famous actor. This marriage broke up when his son was 9 years old, and Valery Nosik spent the last 14 years of his life alone. "", - Alexander later admitted.
On January 4, 1995, the actor did not come to the rehearsal at the theater. Colleagues began to call his home number - the phone did not answer. His brother Vladimir went to his home and found him dead. As it turned out, the actor died of cardiac arrest. He was only 54 years old. Only one newspaper wrote about his death in a small article, and his departure went unnoticed by the public. The press was silent on the anniversaries of his death. His son said that for several years they were called and asked to invite his father to the phone. The king of the episode lived a modest life and left very quietly without becoming the main character. Nevertheless, films with his participation have become classics of Soviet cinema.
Leah Akhedzhakova and Valery Nosik were one of the brightest star couples who shone on movie screens and in the theater during the Soviet era.

Rogvolodovich, not Rurikovich: Why Prince Yaroslav the Wise did not love the Slavs and did not spare his brothers
In the official historiography, Yaroslav the Wise for a long time appeared to be an almost sinless ruler, the creator of legality in the Russian lands. In our time, he is already accused of sending several of his brothers to the next world in order to occupy the Kiev throne. But was it only the desire for power that drove Prince Yaroslav? If you look at the history of his family, then everything that happens is more like revenge … to his father. Bloody revenge for bloody atrocity

As you know, the imperial Romanov family was shot on the night of July 17, 1918 by the Bolsheviks. She did not promote the Germans, did not ruin Russia, did not leave the course of Peter: what is Anna Ioannovna accused of in vain?
Anna Ioannovna, niece of Peter the Great, went down in history with a terrible image. For what they just did not reproach the second ruling queen of Russia: for tyranny and ignorance, craving for luxury, indifference to state affairs and for the fact that the dominance of the Germans was in power. Anna Ioannovna had a lot of bad character, but the myth about her as an unsuccessful ruler who gave Russia to be torn apart by foreigners is very far from the real historical picture
