Not every male actor realistically manages to get used to the female image on stage or screen, and at the same time become famous all over the world. Among those who succeeded with interest, without any conventions, one can name Andrey Danilko- a popular Ukrainian actor, singer, TV presenter. For many years on the territory of the post-Soviet space, he remained the only artist who actively uses the female image in his work on the stage. And the name of this stage image - "Verka Serdiuchka", which brought him incredible fame and popularity.

Turning the pages of a biography

Andrey Danilko was born in 1973 in the Ukrainian city of Poltava in a family of ordinary workers. His father worked as a driver, and his mother was a painter at a factory. At the age of 7, the boy was left without a parent, who loved to drink well and often offended both his wife and children in a drunken stupor. However, after his death, the already plight of the family deteriorated financially, which, naturally, did not have the best effect on the formation of a teenager.

Andryushka was a C grade and did not want to study at all, but he took part in amateur performances with great pleasure. Even in his school years, he shone with improvisations, participating in productions of the amateur theater studio "Grotesque", and while studying at vocational school, he was the captain of the KVN team. Since then, an irresistible craving for the stage has grown in him.

And what is curious, Danilko never gave a reason to perceive himself as an object for compassion, although there were plenty of those. As a boy, he perfectly learned the rule of the adult world: no matter how hard it is, you have to laugh! Then no one will dare to pity you. And you can't open your soul to strangers - they still won't understand.

In those distant school years, his "cool" Larisa Ivanovna became for Andrei relatives. It was she who took care of the boy like a mother, and she prompted her classmates to raise funds, which were used to buy sneakers and a shirt for Andrey's graduation. And he was able to come to the celebration dressed up, although he hesitated - to take, not to take …

Then no one could even imagine that thanks to his hard work, dedication, and most importantly, a huge desire to succeed, this thin guy with a pronounced charisma would be able to break out of a provincial town and become famous outside his country. Although the topic of "origins" for Andrey was banned for many years: the artist either decided so himself, or the managers from the capital advised … Anyway, few people would like to advertise a bleak beggarly childhood.

Why "Serduchka" and why "Verka"

On April 1, 1993, at the "Humorin" in Poltava, Andrey for the first time showed the general public the image of Verka Serduchka. Without expecting it, Danilko in the guise of a conductor made an unprecedented sensation. This day is considered her birthday, despite the fact that she was invented by Andrey long before. Moreover, Danilko took the name of his stage image from real people. "Verka" is the name of the school cleaning lady, and Serdyuchka is the surname of her classmate Anya Serdyuk.

First love

Many years ago Andrey Danilko and Anya Serdyuk sat at the same desk. A slender, modest girl with excellent marks from an intelligent family studied well and was going to become a teacher of the Ukrainian language, like her mother. Andryushka was a C grade and was at odds with grammar, which did not interfere with their friendship at all. The boy was in love … And even then he swore to Anya, either in jest or in earnest, that he would glorify her surname.

After school, they parted ways. Having received a certificate, Anya with her silver medal easily entered the pedagogical institute. Andrei did not manage to score points at a music school, so our hero went to a trade vocational school. However, in the second year, and in the third, the attempt to conquer the musical bastion failed. I had to go to work as a cashier-seller in a store. But soon, unable to bear it, he left, they steal heavily around …

In 1995, Danilko's dream came true, he entered the circus school in Kiev. However, by that time Verka Serduchka, a singer and a conductor, famously shook Ukraine without any diploma. But even from the circus, not having studied for a year and a half, Danilko flew out for academic failure.

The character of the conductor Vera Serduchka became one of the most famous in the country after the release of the Ukrainian show "SV-show". Andrey, in the guise of a sleeping car conductor, opened a completely new direction in show business and quickly acquired a multi-million army of fans. Verka Serduchka has become not only one of the most popular television characters, but also a popular singer. Danilko performed at Eurovision in 2007 and took second place.

Why is Andrei Danilko still an inveterate bachelor

The personal life of Andrey Danilko, as opposed to the stage one, has always remained in the shadows. The artist never found his soul mate at forty-six, however, he is not particularly keen to find it now. - Andrey shares, - It was always difficult for him to let people into his life, into his soul. Even having a housekeeper in his house, he basically cooks his own food only himself.

Indeed, even at the beginning of his creative career, he learned to clearly distinguish between stage and life.

More than once he was credited with an affair with his colleague, Inna Belokon, who is a mother in her stage image. Or worse, there were rumors about his gay orientation. They also talked about two sons born by a surrogate mother from an artist … There is no end to various rumors to this day.

Today Danilko has curtailed his creative activity, having said goodbye to the stage image of Verka Serdyuchka, arranged for her, so to speak, a funeral. The farewell finale was concerts at reduced prices, where many interested could come and see a concert of memories.
