Even after her death, Frida Kahlo continues to inspire creative people to experiment with creative ideas. So, a girl from Bralysia, decided to make a rather peculiar photo project "Everyone can be Frida," in which she gave the opportunity to those who wish to "turn" into a famous artist for a short time.
Camila Fontenle de Miranda (Camila Fontenele de Miranda) originally conceived her project as an opportunity to show the versatility of Frida Kahlo, her courage, endurance and perseverance. That is why Camila was initially planned to use only men in her project in order to emphasize the masculine side of the artist's character, the strength that lurked behind bright dresses and feminine headdresses.
However, as she worked on the project, Camila began to receive requests to participate in the project from a wide variety of people - men and women, children and the elderly, from couples and even from a group of friends. Thus, Camila decided not to get hung up on the original idea and give everyone the opportunity to become Frida.
For project participants " Everyone can be Freedom"(" Todos Podem Ser Frida ") the action itself lasts about 15 minutes. Ready-made outfits, a selection of wreaths with flowers, bright lipstick, an accent on the eyebrows - welcome to the studio! However, Miranda hopes that even such a short experience will help people not only stronger to be interested in the story of Frida's life, but also to feel for a while the artist herself, her fearless spirit, her irrepressible thirst for life.
Japanese artist Katsuhiro Tsuji, creating one of his last works, was also inspired by the striking image of Frida Kahlo: the sculpture he created, looks so realistic that for a moment it may seem that it is the Mexican artist herself who is looking you in the eye.

Exhibition "Free: Contemporary Art After Frida Kahlo" ("Unbound: Contemporary Art After Frida Kahlo")
Frida Kahlo is one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to women who changed the history of visual arts. The fearless surrealist has acquired an almost mythical status. At times, the amazing story of her life even overshadows the glory of her paintings, although, of course, they cannot be separated
Do you remember? Dear Photograf is a fascinating photo project that will help you compare the past and the present
As you know, photographs give us the opportunity not only to forever document this or that event, the moment that we want to last forever. But it can also take us back many years. When grandmothers were students, grandfathers wore luxurious hair and fashionable shoes, and mothers and fathers wore diapers and gnawed on rattles. People are changing, they have a short age. But the streets and lanes, playgrounds and shops, and even the facades of houses and the furnishings of rooms remain practically unchanged

"You are not injured, you are simply killed ": poems by a 19-year-old tanker that will never get into textbooks
These verses will never make it into school textbooks for one simple reason - they are true. And the truth is this is not incredibly inconvenient for modern "couch" patriots who write on their cars "1941-1945. If necessary, we will repeat it. " The author of these poems - 19-year-old lieutenant tanker Ion Degen - wrote them back in December 1944
