Olga spent her childhood in France, where her father was the secretary of the Soviet embassy, and in 1933 they returned to the USSR. Aroseva often talked about how once, as a child, she stood at an aviation parade in Tushino next to Stalin, who even gave her a bouquet of flowers. However, the times of prosperity soon ended: in 1938, my father was arrested and then shot. Not knowing about this, Olga wrote a letter to Stalin, in which she assured him of his father's innocence.
