The art of light graffiti appeared relatively recently, and therefore there is still a lot of room for new discoveries and ideas. Some authors surprise with complex forms, others rely on funny stories - in a word, there is a place for fantasy and creative imagination. Australian Denis Smith decided to bring an element of mystery and mysticism into his work. And, admittedly, he did it very convincingly.
"Ball of Light", or "Ball of light" - this is the name of our author's series of light graffiti. As the name suggests, each image includes a sphere drawn with rays of light. The ball, as a rule, is the same - only its sizes and colors change. But each time this element finds itself in a new environment, shrouding in a fog of mystery every place where it has to appear.
“The ball of light is a mystical portal to my world,” says Denis Smith. "He and his friends can appear in interesting and mysterious places on our planet at any time." Well, if you consider that our hero is an Australian, then there is nothing surprising in the fact that the luminous spheres prefer to appear mainly in Australia: in the botanical garden in Adelaide, against the backdrop of the Sydney opera, in the Barossa Valley.
Denis Smith claims that he does not use any computer programs such as Photoshop when creating his works. Rather, it processes images in order to optimize brightness or contrast, however, there is no question of adding something to a photo or, conversely, deleting it.
Denis first picked up a camera not so long ago - in 2008. “I don't want to be the best photographer in the world, but I want to constantly improve my skills and learn as much as possible about photography,” says the author. Light graffiti is not the only direction in Denis's work, you can see the rest of his work on the website.
