Clara Luchko and Sergey Lukyanov: Love at first sight on the set

The story of their first meeting was passed on by word of mouth. This was exactly the case when feelings flare up in an instant. And it would seem that this moment should be followed by many years of happiness. But it was not at all so simple for Klara Luchko and Sergei Lukyanov.

Clara Luchko

Clara Luchko was born on July 1, 1925 in a Ukrainian village in the Poltava region. Her early childhood memories are filled with the sun and the light of happy carelessness. Later, when she gave her dog Dzhulbars to serve at the border, she was rewarded with a trip to Moscow, which stunned and delighted the girl. Upon returning home, Klara confidently declared that she would certainly live in Moscow. She herself does not know where this confidence came from.

During the war, dad went to the front, and Klara with her mother and grandmother was evacuated to Kazakhstan. In the tenth grade, she came across an ad in the newspaper about recruiting for VGIK. The course of Sergei Gerasimov was recruited, it was incredible happiness. She dreamed that she could become an actress. Little Klara loved cinema since childhood, even considered herself similar to Tamara Makarova, whose films she watched several times.

Clara decisively wrote a letter to the admissions office, received the admission rules and began to prepare. True, during the exam she could not read a word from the prepared program. Boris Bibikov, barely looking at the applicant, immediately realized how much she was worried. And he suggested that she just play a small sketch. At the end, Klara entered the role so much that she burst into tears from an excess of emotions. This decided her future fate, she was accepted.

Then there was a happy time of study, moving with the institute to Moscow, the first small victories. Clara Luchko always remembered with delight and adoration her teachers Sergei Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova. It was thanks to them that she received excellent lessons not only in acting, but also an example of humanity and spiritual generosity.

After graduation, she starred in several films. But her talent fully manifested itself in the film "Kuban Cossacks". In fact, it was with the role of Dasha Shelest that her career as an actress began. And happiness began with her.

Sergey Lukyanov

He was born on September 27, 1910 in the Donbass in the village of Nizhnee. It seemed that from childhood the fate of a miner was prepared for him. After school, he graduated from a mining school and continued the family dynasty, becoming a miner. But after a hard day at work, the young miner hurried to the theater club where a completely different life awaited him: creative, bright, interesting. He played, taking pleasure in what he was doing. On stage, he did not feel tired after hard work. Sergei Lukyanov's acting talent was noticed, he was invited to work in the theater.

Soon he graduated from drama school, then entered the Vakhtangov Theater. For the first time Lukyanov appeared on the screen, playing an investigator in the movie "Duel".

By this time, he was married to Nadezhda Tyshkevich, their daughter Tanya, who was born in 1939, was growing up. It seemed that everything in his life was already settled. But soon fate took a sharp turn, bringing confusion into his feelings and into a well-established way of life.

Kuban Cossacks

Even before filming began, makeup approval was required. Klara Luchko was sitting with several other actors in the dressing room and was waiting for her turn when the door opened and Sergei Lukyanov entered the room. It remained unknown why he came. It so happened that as soon as he saw Klara, he uttered only one phrase: "That's it, I'm lost!"Then he turned and walked away.

And then began their filming and labor expedition to the state farm "Kuban", where director Pyryev assigned all the artists to agricultural work, for a better understanding of the images and reliable performance. Unusual nature, wonderful creative team, cheerful and bright script gave a complete feeling of happiness. But for Klara Stepanovna, it was supplemented by the fact that she fell in love for the first time in her life.

It was on the set of the film that serious feelings arose between her and Sergei Lukyanov. Clara Luchko and Sergei Lukyanov in 1950 joined their destinies, as it seemed to them then, forever. A year later, they became parents.

Such a short long happiness

He loved his second wife very much and never tired of making her happy. Clara Luchko did not like her birthday, and her husband could not deny himself the pleasure of making his wife happy. Therefore, he prepared everything himself, and she could only enjoy her holiday and family comfort.

When Sergei Vladimirovich was on foreign tours, he invariably brought gifts to his wife. At the same time, if others brought home a heap of clothes, he purchased one, but very expensive and insanely beautiful dress. Most of all, he impressed his colleagues when he brought a dress made of the finest Brussels lace and silver shoes for his wife.

In general, he loved to pamper his Clara. That there are only sandals made by him with cork soles alone! In an era of scarcity, such a miracle could not be obtained, and he did everything himself, just like a real master.

Everything will be, slush and powder …

They were an amazingly beautiful couple. It seemed that their relationship was perfect. Of course, the family was not without difficulties. At first, these were both material problems and the long divorce of Sergei Vladimirovich. He was a rather domineering person, unlike Klara Stepanovna herself. Sometimes he put too much pressure on his wife. Not without jealousy, both male and professional.

Despite recurring problems, they loved each other and tried to find compromises in their relationship. Their joint work on the set also helped in this, they starred in several films together.

Their family duo could have formed into a trio: the growing daughter made her debut in the film "State Criminal", where her parents were also involved. But on March 1, 1965, during a speech at a meeting at the Vakhtangov Theater, Sergei Lukyanov died right on the stage from a heart attack. Clara Luchko can still become happy, but all her life she will remember her first love, the wonderful actor Sergei Lukyanov, with deep respect and slight sadness.
