Indescribably lucky someone who at least once in his life saw with his own eyes how cherry blossoms are in bloom. This is a truly enchanting sight, because it is not for nothing that the sakura flower is one of the symbols of love, beauty and tenderness, and artists willingly use the image of a cherry blossom in their works. But for inspiration and unforgettable impressions, it is best to go to the Taiwan Amusement Park. Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, where in February, according to tradition, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival takes place Cherry Blossom Festival … This festival is already more than 12 years old, and every year the geography of the event participants is becoming wider. Tourists from all over the world specifically choose their tours for this time of year, since being in Taiwan and missing such an event is an unforgivable oversight. A huge garden of 2,000 cherry trees grows in the Formosan amusement park, and one can only imagine how it all looks in February, when the trees are abundantly covered with pink flowers and smell so sweet that you don't feel like sweets for a long time.
But if during the day the blooming cherry orchard in Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village looks like a pink country from the world of Barbie dolls and glossy glamor, then towards evening everything around becomes fabulous, magical and mysterious. Lanterns are lit in the park, and trees, illuminated by multi-colored lights of different powers, become elements of a stunning light show. Now the cherry blossom garden is not pink and delicate, but bright, multi-colored, contrasting - truly festive and festival. Reflecting in the water of a large lake, the glowing trees form a fabulous landscape, the impressions of which will be engraved in the memory of everyone who has attended the Cherry Blossom Festival for many years.
The colorful light show in the cherry orchard lasts a little over two hours and is certainly accompanied by gentle, relaxing music. But this is already enough to make those present want to once again visit Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in February, and admire the cherry blossom festival.
