Christians around the world celebrated Easter festive cakes and painted-colored eggs, and in Ukraine, on the main square Kharkiv, installed 11-meter temple built entirely of flowers, and some huge flower dye eggs. Thus, the local authorities, together with florist artists, have implemented a large-scale floristic project, the likes of which have never been seen in Ukraine. More than 35 thousand fresh flowers were used to make flower sculptures, as well as the efforts of 12 best international-class florists. As a result, the townspeople and guests of the city were able to admire the "golden" domes of the huge church and eight fragrant flowers, each three meters "tall".
It is known that the floristic project was blessed by the Vicar of the Kharkiv Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Onufry of Izyum.
In addition to flower sculptures, one could also see huge Easter cakes on the square, known in Ukraine as pasques, candles, icons and other symbols of the Easter holiday.
