Who among us does not remember the familiar from childhood poem by S. Marshak about Shaltay-Boltai, who was sitting on the wall. After he managed to fall off in a dream, all the royal men could not collect him. The same story recently happened in London (home of the legendary "Alice in Wonderland"): during a charity quest The Big Egg Hunt Humpty Dumpty, dressed in a traditional striped suit, suddenly crashed, despite an honor guard on duty nearby.
A funny action The Big Egg Hunt is timed to coincide with Easter, because its celebration is never complete without eggs. The event is of a charitable nature: everyone could register on the organizers' website and try to find all 103 giant Easter eggs hidden in the city. Each of them is unique, as painted by the best contemporary artists, including the Chapman brothers, Bruce Oldfield, Zandra Rhodes, Sir Ridley Scott and Victoria Scott.
Humpty Dumpty became a real highlight of the collection, because not only is this a favorite fairytale character among the British, but he also looked just stunning. It was installed in central London in the park of the Royal Theater, Covent Garden.
For registration on the site, as well as for each egg with a password, the quest participants transferred a symbolic fee to the website of the charitable organization. A diamond egg worth 100,000 pounds (5 million rubles) was awarded as a prize for the complete collection. The action paid off, because the "egg" earnings amounted to about 2 million pounds. The money raised is intended to help orphans.
