American writer Ned Rorem called humor the ability to see three sides of the same coin. Looking at the funny posters he creates designer David Olenick, you stop doubting that it is possible to find this third party. Funny pictures, supplemented with signatures based on a successful punare unlikely to leave you indifferent.
Of course, the main theme of most of David Olenik's pictures is a carefree outlook on life, because, as you know, "a gloomy day is brighter from a smile." The designer gives simple advice on how to avoid difficulties. Instead of the usual “Take it easy” (literally - “Take it easy”), a certain “cheesy” character waves his hand at us, his credo is: “Take it cheesy”! The "rich" guys also call for the simplicity of life, the straightforward roll bewilderedly asks the ornate bun: "Why do you necessarily complicate everything?"
True, there are sad characters among the creations of David Olenik. For example, a chocolate bagel admits that “sometimes it feels empty inside”, a rainbow, looking at cheerful white clouds, is sad that it is “above it” (literally “I`m over it”), a confused hat is looking for a fool who managed to forget it, and the dismal pass admits that no one perceives him as a person for a long time, they do not see him as an individual (instead of a name, it bears the inscription: "Hello, my name: Come in").
Such uncomplicated, but at the same time funny pictures allow you to think about serious things with a smile. But this is the main measure of the author's talent. By the way, the designer places them on T-shirts, cups, puzzles and other goods so that a good mood does not leave people either at home or in the office. The exhibits have to take the rap (in the literal sense): the characters put their lips together with a tube and make a wish. With candles, everything is clear.
