French designers from the studio Claire & Arnaud, who have long been fond of oriental, in particular, Japanese art, founded a series of jewelry Origami Jewelery, which will surely be appreciated by lovely young ladies of any age. Perfect geometric shapes, intricate construction and philosophical aspects of origami figures have fascinated designers for a long time. But the idea to embody paper creations in silver and gold came to them relatively recently, and more precisely, in the winter of 2008, when they went to Japan for inspiration and in search of a potential manufacturer of designed jewelry. The first origami decoration was a silver figurine of the traditional Japanese bird Tsuru, which symbolizes peace, prosperity and goodness. Then others appeared: birds, animals, stars, flowers, or abstract geometric shapes in the form of brooches, pendants and earrings. Over time, precious stones or colored enamel were added to pure metal as decoration, which made the jewelry more elegant and more diverse.
