How do we behave at the table? Sometimes it is decorous and decent, especially when it is a dinner party, or a business lunch, or a business meeting. And sometimes like little children: we reach for a piece across the entire table, eventually knocking the dessert down on our knees, we drag the cherries off the cake while no one sees, we feed the "beloved child" (read, spouse, groom or friend of the heart) with a spoon, sharing with him food from his plate … Following the most common habits, Turkish artist and designer Ezgi Turksoy has created an original art collection of silver spoons.
The art project is called Silver Sensations and consists of five spoons that are unlikely to be useful in everyday life, but as a souvenir or a gift they will go off with a bang.
So what are our habits here? A bit off-edge spoon is for those in a hurry to finish their dinner quickly by swallowing food without literally chewing. The pimply is the passion to lick a spoon while tasting something tasty, and the double is just for those who are eager to share their dish with others.
The most practical of the entire collection is probably the long-handled spoon. It is prescribed to someone who believes that the most delicious pieces went to someone else, and in search of these very pieces examines the plates of neighbors on the table. And what a spoon with two handles and a short "neck" symbolizes, I find it difficult to say, and the author did not bother to explain. Most likely, this is a spoon for a greedy person, to whom serve not only your portion, but also an additive, and more, more.
It would be great if such cool spoons really sold. And so this is just a creative idea …
