As a rule, sculptors and painters choose beautiful people as models. Nude young girls, athletic men, well-fed babies - all the characters are usually pleasant to look at, even several centuries after the creation of the work. The sculptor Sam Jinks decided to move away from established traditions and create a collection of hyper-realistic figures from silicone, resin, human and horse hair. As a result, sculptures are so believable that eyewitnesses perceive them as real human bodies in the first minutes.
The idea for the creation of the collection was the question of human aging. The sculptor clearly demonstrates how our bodies change over time. Sam Jinks showcases a baby first, then a teenage boy, followed by a grown man and an elderly woman. Each of the characters has a number of features that make them as realistic as possible for perception.
Critics argue that the work of Sam Jinks is a kind of look at the art of past centuries. And that in the outlines of the sculptures you can see the outlines of the statues of the famous Leonardo da Vinci.

Word collages by Sam Winston
Right in front of you is the full text of the play by William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet", but not at all in the form in which we are used to seeing and reading it. In the collaged variation of the artist Sam Winston, we can hardly read Shakespeare's tragedy, because this is not a text at all, but a set of words, but far from chaotic, but logical and thought out by the author

Simplified Celebrity Portraits by Sam Kerr
In childhood, many of us painted portraits of writers and poets in literature textbooks, adding mustaches to them, changing hairstyles, facial features, image and even gender. But British illustrator Sam Kerr turned this activity into a real art, creating a kind of a series of portraits of celebrities
Topographic food sculptures. Food topographic sculptures art project by Stephanie Herr
The inspiration of the German artist Stephanie Herr lies in the work of the compilers of topographic maps, in their volumetric creations, which can be called almost-sculptures, specific bas-reliefs. They need not only to be viewed, but to be able to understand and read, as one reads comics or stories written with pictures. Having studied the technique of creating relief sculptures, the artist willingly applies it in her own work, as can be seen by looking at the works from the Food topographic sculp series

Yes, you really know them. Moreover, every day you have to "communicate" - with some more and more often, with others less and less often, but nevertheless, they will not surprise you when you meet again. But be careful if the next meeting takes place at an exhibition of sculptures by the Spanish sculptor Romulo Celdran. Romulo is famous for his ability to create hyper-realistic sculptures, and his art project Macr is dedicated to them
