You will have to prepare the epoxy at home yourself. For this, a resin is taken, to which the same amount of hardener is added and everything is mixed. After solidification and polymerization, a transparent material will be obtained. Outwardly, it looks a lot like plexiglass, transparent plastic and even ordinary glass, but it does not break.
Craftsmen know that epoxy resin is an excellent material for creating jewelry at home, since no special conditions are required to work with it. You can make a simple transparent decoration, but it will be boring, and therefore it is recommended to prepare beautiful elements that will be located inside the jewelry: flowers, beads, shells, dried flowers, etc.
The mold for making the jewelry must be clean and dry. The resin and hardener are mixed just before the jewelry is made. For each manufacturer, the compositions may differ, and therefore you should adhere to the proportions that are indicated in the instructions in order for everything to work out. The composition is thoroughly mixed and left for a while - it is necessary for air bubbles to come out of it. In the meantime, you can start preparing leaves, flowers and other elements that will make the decoration interesting. This will take about 10 minutes, after which the prepared solution is poured into the prepared mold. Now the decorations are laid, which can be straightened with a toothpick. In order for the product to freeze faster and get rid of air as soon as possible, it should be placed in the oven, heated to 80 degrees, and then turned off. It is enough for the decoration to stay here for 10-15 minutes, then it is removed until it hardens completely, for about 24 hours.
After drying, the jewelry is removed from the mold. Its edges can be sharp, fine sandpaper helps to fix this. After sanding, the product is covered with acrylic varnish and can be worn. Similarly, you can create unique bracelets, earrings, rings and pendants that no one else will have.
