In London, unusual lamps were installed between St. Paul's Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge. In their shape, they resemble giant magic wands used by magicians in films about the young wizard Harry Potter. A total of nine such huge sticks-lamps were installed.

The installation with such sticks will run in London until November 13th. And it was developed specifically in order to attract as much attention as possible to the charitable foundation of the famous writer J. K. Rowling. This fund is called Lumos, which in the books about the magician Harry Potter is a spell to create light. This foundation is engaged in providing assistance to organizations where orphans and children abandoned by their parents live. It is also timed to coincide with the release of the new film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Nine magic wands turn on at 18 hours 45 minutes and flicker every half hour. The installation turns off at 22 hours 45 minutes. We decided not to limit ourselves to just installing some lamps. The Magic Wednesday is also planned to be held in London. Within the framework of this project, workshops will operate, where the show of sticks will be held. It is worth noting that in this project they decided to focus on the dark arts. Walking orchestras will take part in this project, which are supposed to play musical compositions that sounded in films about fantastic creatures and the magician Harry Potter.

Pierre Boann, who designed all of the wand designs in J. K. Rowling's magic movies, was interviewed. In it, he noted that he had been developing designs for small magic wands for twenty years, and it was an honor for him that the works they created were embodied in such a magnificent installation.

Josh Berger, Managing Director and Director of Warner Bros Entertainment in Spain, UK and Ireland, during his speech, expressed special thanks to Lumos for such an installation in London. According to him, such an object, although installed for a short time, should attract tourists and fans of Harry Potter films. He also counts on the fact that such an action will help the charitable foundation itself.

It is worth noting that the new film with the title will go on sale worldwide on November 16 this year. The new part about mystical creatures describes the events that took place 70 years before the events described in the books and shown in the Harry Potter film.
