Finnish sculptor Miina Ekkiurkkä devoted most of her life to communicating with cows: she learned to look after them at agricultural courses, and then she sculpted hair-eyed models. So in the "Models" section on her website - that's right, cows! One of the sculptor's impressive projects is a whole metal herd: cows from car parts graze on meager grass (after all, biofuel).
Miina Akkijyrkka is 53 years old and lives in Helsinki. Where the urban sculptor takes a place for a whole herd of fantastic animals and spare parts for them is a mystery. Meanwhile, the dimensions of metal cows are very impressive: adults reach 3-4 meters at the withers, young animals grow to two.
In a funny herd, cows are distinguished by a variegated color: the combination of blue, green and red spots can baffle not only naturalists. Brothers in appearance, though not packed in armor, are perplexed: what kind of strange animals?
