Fuzzy lines of a circle, uneven outlines of a square, blurred image, careless drops of paint…. Had I happened to visit the exhibition of this series of illustrations, and I would have thought that I was at the presentation of children's drawings, which small pens carefully and diligently took out with a brush on an album sheet. But she was shocked to learn that the illustrations are the work of an already adult Japanese artist Mizue Hirano. Tokyo-based freelance artist Mizu Hirano paints her illustrations with watercolors, creating fantasy and abstract paintings.
Carefully examining the illustrations by the Japanese artist, it seems that somewhere a certain theme is visible: somewhere you can see a very primitive plant, somewhere an irregular sun, or a crooked building, strange plants and flowers. Other images show a solid set of blots and blurred outlines. Everyone perceives and understands the paintings of Mizu Hirano in their own way, to the extent of their own imagination. We can only say that her illustrations are bright and simple in their execution, perhaps even too simple for a mature artist.
If someone liked the abstract art of Mizu Hirano, then more works of the Japanese master can be seen in the gallery.
