Today it is difficult to surprise someone with a mobile home, but House-Wheel quite possible. Wheel house - unusual circus project, in which two acrobats entertain the audience by rolling through the streets in a very unusual "dwelling".
The Wheel House is not much different from an ordinary apartment - the same curtains on the windows, pots and pans on the "shelves", clocks and pictures on the walls, there is even a bed. True, in comparison with this "house" any communal apartment will seem like a mansion: Wheel House is an ordinary wheel in which all household items are placed. The house "moves" due to the fact that its inhabitants demonstrate real miracles of balancing act, jumping over each other, and thereby, setting the wheel in motion.
To make the performance look even more believable, the circus performers are dressed in rags, and their house is going nowhere. Wandering entertainers move slowly under the characteristic wheel creak, while surprised spectators can follow alongside. Despite the diminutive size of the house, the couple makes a couple of stops to demonstrate how they manage to cope with the daily chores of the house.
The unusual project was founded in 2006 by the circus theater Acrojou Circus Theater (artistic directors Jeni Barnard and Barney White). For several years of its existence, the amazing house has traveled (in the literal sense of the word) nine countries, delighting about 60 thousand people with performances. In the arsenal of circus performers there are six unique programs, each of which originally combines "theatrical acrobatics, comedic elements and moments of risk that will take your breath away." Over the years, the traveling circus has gained a lot of admirers and continues to delight the audience with its creative discoveries.
