James Bennet began his professional career immediately after accepting an invitation to study at the School of Fine Arts in New York as a fellowship student. Once everything is clear in terms of composition and perspective, James is busy composing details and gestures for the characters, drawn from a stock of sketches and photographs. After that, the issues of light and colors are resolved. Although the artist thinks about the ending from the very beginning, he may well make some changes, if they seem appropriate to him. Once the drawing process begins, James Bennet tries to work much faster so that the final image doesn't get out of his head. Well, at the very end of the work, after applying paints, he checks each section of the canvas in case something is not implemented as in his original plan.
The result is almost something monumental and always funny. Take, for example, a pig with a funny face diving into a barrel of water, or getting hit in the face by George W. Bush. Moreover, if we consider that this weight is drawn in oil, then these paintings are much more valuable than ordinary caricature sketches, for which many artists are so famous.
