One of the directions of the flash mob movement is the organization of mass dances in crowded places - someone starts alone, and then hundreds of people pick up his actions. Now something similar can be seen in one of the squares of a French city. Lyon … That's just dancing there are not living people, but figures of glowing men.
We are talking about the installation "Key Frames" ("Key frames") from the French art studio Groupe LAPS. It represents several dozen luminous humanoid figures, arranged in such an order that to a person looking at it from the side it seems as if they are dancing.
But this, of course, is not at all the case! It's just that these figures have the poses of dancing people. In fact, they are static!
On the other hand, each of the figures in the installation "Key Frames" glows with LED lamps with low energy consumption. Moreover, they light up in a special order, which gives this work from the studio Groupe LAPS the external impression of a dance. At the same time, special music plays against the background, in time with which the lamps are switched on and off. She gives the installation a finished look, transforming static figures into "dancers".
As conceived by the designers of the studio Groupe LAPS, Key Frames is not just an art installation. After all, such work can also serve as a completely effective street lighting system. Moreover, it will be very extraordinary and much more economical than modern lanterns.
Dancing luminous figures of the installation "Key Frames" have already been presented in Singapore at the iLight Marina exhibition, and are currently installed in one of the Lyon squares as part of the Fête des Lumieres 2011 light festival. anyone could play pinball on the facade of one of the theaters.

Since almost all of us now have digital cameras, few people use film cameras, not all of us have the ability to print these very photographs. So they lie on hard disks, discs … And you shouldn't forget about photo frames, especially when designers make them so different
Another Brezhnev: What is left behind the frames of the official chronicle of "dear Leonid Ilyich"
Many people remember Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev as he was in recent years - an almost helpless old man who only cares about his own awards and regalia. However, those who were next to the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee for many years remembered him as completely different. For 13 years, next to Brezhnev was his personal photographer Vladimir Musaelyan, whose memories of the secretary general are strikingly different from the image outlined by the biographers of Leonid Ilyich
